well said the internet were the same way as bitcoin is currently i cant live without internet currently... my family away i use it to talk and others... with bitcoin i can pay for some things currently it will explode on the next years ,lands on sale for bitcoin... i saw it already lol

internet has become the necessity for all of us and we wish that same would be with the bitcoins in the future that it becomes the necessity and wherever we go to make a payment they should say that we only accept bitcoins as a mode of payment. No Fiat, No Credit Card..Sorry

Agree with you. Bitcoin can't be the real money currency. It's very dangerous if bitcoin is the main currency, it's value isn't stable and causing merchants suffer losses.

I'm of the view Bitcoin is still in its infancy and is comparable to the internet in 90s . I'm confident we're gonna see an explosion in interest AND price before 2016

If you hold make it sure that you hold it for a longer period of time. Then only you would make profit out of it so having patience and keeping in a cold storage for a longer period of time would be a better option and you simply cannot afford to leave bitcoins at a moment.

i agree. i think you have to make up your mind about what kind of investor you want to be. if you believe in bitcoin and consider its future bright, you should buy at a point that you feel comfortable and then hold it for long term.
but if you want to day-trade and just profit from the swings and more importantly you have confidence that you can do this, then you can invest short term and get the profits.

And how that isn't an alternative to the traditional fiat system?
I don't see national currencies being replaced by Bitcoin, but I see a very strong Bitcoin in the future and a way to do what you can do with fiat, but in a decentralized open source way, and that is what an alternative is. Both fiat and Bitcoin will exist.

it is better not to invest, and have faith in anything blindly. i mean if you want to buy some bitcoin (just a small amount) and hold just to be involved. or you want to have some fun, it is ok.
but if you want to invest some money in bitcoin, if things go wrong (not saying it would but) you are going to lose serious money.

I think the most important thing is to simplify the process of converting from fiat to bitcoin for mass adoption. Once it becomes very easy for a common clueless user to obtain bitcoin, then it's definitely going to stay.

this is a bad logic and you know it, bitcoin not depend at all from fiat, it just use fiat as a measure of it's value, because it is convenient, nothing more

i've already explained how you can give a value to bitcoin without the need of fiat, just with initial estimation by using barter(in the case there will not be fiat one day, not gonna happen, but one can dream right?)

bitcoin is not dependent on fiat and it is not a substitute for fiat either. at least not yet it isn't.

what bitcoin's price is, depends on many things but not fiat.

I'm prefer it to stay because we can have more advantage as efficient transaction. Every process are instant result and it means everybody can enjoy it rather than using our own currency ( high fee and a quite low speed of transaction )
