Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Yes bitcoin is only starting from now, if you see the trends of the market its price goes up every day and its stability is more than $250. So? why you should leave bitcoin? Even if its price are not high, still you can earn bitcoin without losing any money. You just need is to wait until its price goes up again, you should stay.

I don't think so that the Bitcoin ever will return to its starting point.Bitcoin is just to go further and further by large adoption.People who do not believe in Bitcoin they never did and never will do but who are open minded to embrace the innovative techs always welcome and support any tech.Bitcoin will make it way by itself in spite of all the issues related to its tech.
Bitcoin is accepted throughout the world and making it legal to invest in it.As ATMs also intall for the exchange of digital currencies into their local currencies. It is better to stay  for long term investment as it give profit. Grin

Yeah I see what you are saying.  I think the first step is to simplify the exchange process.  I had to read up on how to buy bitcoins and tbh it was a total pain to get some.  If you could just buy them direct from a bank account in stead of having to wait a week or pay a hefty transfer fee then that would go a long way to better adoption.  That will be the first barrier to cross.  The second will be transaction speed.  The average person does not want to wait so long for a transaction to go through.  They are used to credit cards and instant money.  Third there needs to be some advantage that bitcoins have.  Why would the average person use bitcoins in stead of dollars?  If I get ripped off using my CC then I just call them and have the transaction reversed.  BTC has no such thing.  It needs to have an advantage for the average person and not just us.

You see, what you defined here is what clearly the majority of people feel.

But all of you are wrong on one thing.

The points you highlighted aren't Bitcoins fault.

It's the way fiat works fault.

The companies who sell you BTC and their inability to process your payments quickly enough, or having to verify you, is due to the problems with Fiat money. Paypal also has to verify you (is it BTC money or emoney?)

Once you transition to the world of BTC you start to see how much more control you have and how smooth transactions really are.

Volatility is the major drawback.

Scamming comes a close second, due to it's nature of non-refundability.

But most of you don't  complain about volatility of the US Dollar. The $ has been Euros bitch for almost 6 months to a year now. I don't see anyone complaining if they feel like the $ is too volatile?

Still waiting for a good news so bitcoin price will raise up Cheesy. I think bitcoin will be still alive until 5 years later, so it's a wise choice to stay for 5 years

the times where bitcoin price would go up after good news are over. and of course bitcoin will still be here in 5 years. just be patient with your holdings. what today seems to not move can look totally different next year.

Yes, this is my hope to.
If I cash out my BTC funds right now, I will not receive much.
I'm not in hurry, I invested some of BTC in my other businesses online and rest of BTC I will keep until the right time, when its value rise again.
I have confidence that this will happen in the near future.
At least, I didn't invest my own money here, all BTC I earned through my work Smiley

agree as the time is passing away we are looking it growing stronger and stronger with it's acceptance by big merchants so as the adoption will grow by public awareness than people will know it is more than just a currency.

Yeah agree. I read some speculations with some fearless market forecast analyzation that it can reached $300 by the end of the year or in first quarter next year.

Haha. Well I'm in bitcoin for the long term too so don't really care about sudden price rises and would prefer a slow and natural growth but I don't mind everyone else who wants or hopes for a quick profit. They're still supporting bitcoin in their own way and I don't blame people for wanting to make money but I don't think they'll make it as quick as they like any way.

I choose to stay Smiley
I understand that for the the majority of users bitcoin is still only investment and they collected BTC with a hope to earn quickly some good money, but in the real world, things do not always happen as quickly as we would like.
Bitcoin still didn't become mainstream and its growth has slowed and the value became unstable.
In the short term I don't think we will see some rapid changes but I'm very optimistic that in the long term bitcoin will become globally accepted as the main virtual currency and an alternative to the current '' paper '' currencies as Dollar and Euro.
So, my advice is stay here and be patient, our time is coming Smiley
If you give up now and sell your BTC for such low price, you will be sorry later when its value increased significantly.

Bitcoin still didn't become mainstream

You can't expect Bitcoin to become mainstream in its current form. It's not ready for it yet.

its growth has slowed

Since when did the growth slow down? More and more merchants are accepting Bitcoin as form op payment.

And people are more willing to spend their coins as they start to see it as currency as well, instead of only an investment. That's what I call growth.

the value became unstable.

When was the value ever stable?

I do not think that any one is willing to leave Bitcoin and go, as you said Bitcoin has its own fits and starts, it will re-emerge again to it's own defined value, however do we have to think Bitcoin only as a transaction and exchange purpose, why we forget often to look at Bitcoin as a revolutionary digital currency technology which has high quality features besides the exchange rates.
