I believe its too early to leave, bitcoin is still in its growing stage and seeks support from the community, so its better we stay and have faith in bitcoins as the value of bitcoin would be much higher then our expectations.

Even though I would never leave bitcoin even if the price falls down to $100 I have faith in bitcoin that it would  reach to the moon one day, I would always be in support of bitcoin as I know one day it will make me the richest.

I think everyone should have some bitcoins.
I am pretty new to this all thing and I'm trying to accumulate the most that I can because I really believe bitcoin is here to stay.

Yeah, as you said you are new here, I recommend you to collect as much bitcoins possible at a moment, as the price of bitcoin is comparatively low at a moment, and in future it would reach to a new level, so that can be profitable.

I am player of long race, so I would surely stay and won't leave bitcoins at a moment, as I am sure that bitcoin will surprise us with its value in the coming months, So I still have patience to atleast wait for next 6 months.

Well I personally think bitcoin has a bright future its just if people take bitcoin on board and actually make use of it

Yeah, bitcoin's future is bright, it just needs to be widely used, and us, who use it, must atleast invite one to join us, that way, we are helping bitcoin, sad to say, some of those prominent person who should always be beside bitcoin, had left,..

I couldn't agree more with you,  we must stay using bitcoin as well. If you want to invite your friends to use bitcoin too, it means firstly you should make them interest with bitcoin. Tell them the advantage of bitcoin that you known.

That's correct, if we don't have perfect knowledge of bitcoins then it would become difficult to convince others, and we are using bitcoins since long time, so at a moment it would be foolish decision if we quit.

Yeah, actually I believe that when we really have proper knowledge about bitcoin, not just to profit on it, then it would be hard for us to quit, and a little easier to explain it to others...  Smiley

Exactly, if we try to explain them in a simple way without making it too complicated, they would surely show  their interest into bitcoins, and I bet once they are in, it is difficult to leave bitcoins.

yes, because they are properly oriented about bitcoin, and their knowledge is really inculcated or should i say there is foundation on what they are believing..that way no one would be leaving..  Smiley

Without a defining killer app, I am confident that Bitcoin will, in fits and starts, inevitably return to its 2009 levels. It would be pointless to guess how long that process will take; or when that killer app will appear although I am also confident it will appear at some entirely unpredictable point.

I'm easily old enough to remember the very early days of personal computers. I remember a story from The Wall Street Journal in which a reporter interviewed a small-business owner (I think an auto-repair shop) who had bought an Apple II. The reporter asked the man what he thought of his purchase. The man stared glumly at the Apple for a moment and then sourly commented: "The damn thing just sits there."

Exactly. The world was just never going to buy into a command-prompt environment in a really big way. But the Mac came along and then the world began to change. (Be like the Mac! Bill Gates commanded his troops developing Windows 95.) And so it will be with Bitcoin. The world will never buy into it until an environment comes along that makes it easier, safer, and a lot more fun to use. Until then, the price will suffer periodic whale-dumps and then sort of bounce, spurt, and finally just roll along long enough for people to start talking (again) about "Bitcoin's recent price stability." And then yet another whale-dump will splash the water and the retroactively obvious cycle will begin again.

If you decide to go, then you will miss out on the killer app that will send Bitcoin to the moon and beyond. If you decide to stay, then you will watch the value of your stash just ebb away before your eyes. That choice defines your control.

As for me, for now I'm going to stay. But I've got Coinbase and can go in a second. That could happen at any time too.

[Comment added June 23, 2015:

My conclusion: stay. The blockchain itself will be the killer app upon which all other apps and bitcoins' fiat value will depend.]

i am stay as long i need bitcoin,i need money and instantly trade bitcoin to fiat or money, and if i must go,it because so many reason, one of that is when i dont have time with bitcoin anymore.

There's no reason to go, even if you are Pro-altcoin you're missing the point of having bitcoin as the Go-to guy of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is not yet 100% into its fruition but will it ever be or some altcoin will overtake bitcoin in terms of growth? That we can't tell yet but should not be completely ignored.

The cryptocurrency Bitcoin has been making news for its seemingly unstoppable rise in the stock market this year. It has gone from being priced at less than $1000 per coin at the start of the year to currently passing $17,000 per one bitcoin. It also seems to not be slowing down any time soon, with analysts predicting the stock price to rise as high as $20,000 in the short term.As more bitcoins are mined, the process of their creation becomes more complex, requiring more difficult problems and more computing muscle. It is estimated that each transaction of bitcoin needs as much energy as used up by 9 homes in the U.S. during one day.Of course, such naysaying has not stopped the frenzy and people are investing into Bitcoin in droves. So if you are prepared for a ride, you may want to go for it.

It may happen in the future, but I don't think that some altcoin will replace Bitcoin as the top crypto anytime in the next 2-3 years. Because none of the other alternatives even come close to Bitcoin in terms of the number of users and acceptability.

Even though bitcoin is going up and down it is not a reason to leave on it. We all know bitcoin is the top cyprocurrency now and for sure it  will last against other coins out there.

I am pretty new to this all thing and I'm trying to accumulate the most that I can because I really believe bitcoin is here to stay.

Same here, I can't see any valid reason just to quit in Bitcoin,  Bitcoin makes my life so different  from my usual life status before, in fact I have given a chance to stored all my salary and I get all my expenses from my earnings in Bitcoin. I'm no longer having a hard time finding money in case of emergency, thats why I'm so thankful that my friend introduce me about this kind of technology.
