Had a small hurdle getting compile to work on Windows but after monkeying all night got it working Had to recompile QT5 with various additional libs, and then compile QCA and QOAuth. Am presently in the process of swapping out QTweetLib to QOAuth so that we have a multi-platform solution. Once that's completed then we're good. I passed a little tech demo build around to a few monkeys, and the feedback has been positive and they all really like the interface. Gonna have some bananas for dinner and then we'll get the release ready. |

Been working on wrapping up Nanas for windows. Discovered after days of going down a rabbit hole of trying different QT versions that you can't really use/deploy the advanced features of QT properly doing a static build on Windows, although it is theoretically possible it simply doesn't work right. So I grabbed the new QT 5.5 and I'm putting together a dynamic build which should be ready "soon" In the meantime, I put together a static 64-bit linux qt demo build that you can try out to see the new Banana Stand: bananabits-qt-linux-64bit-static.tar.gzIt should work on ubuntu 14.04 or newer. |
