How greedy you are ?

I just got Greedy and lost 0.03 while investing in ICO and it turned out shitcoin. i invested in sponsored ICO Coin in bittrex i thought they are strict on adding coins on their site but it turned out i was wrong. it was a great lesson for me this time is never trust anyone even though he is very well known. anyway everything when theres money involve is considered Gambling. So yes im greedy as f**k i didnt research further.

I don't think that is greed, it is just unlucky, and buying alt coins to invest it's not a gambling it's called trading and it's just a mistake that you dont research further, and it's a natural things people want to search for opportunity to earn bigger money

Its still somehow  a gambling  or greed  because  you are aiming for profits but  you could consider it as risking  on an investment since you are  investing  on an ICO which on altcoin. Correct you are just  unlucky because  you choose  a certain coins which isnt good at all.

Sometimes luck will also play during the ICO because although there are some coins that are expected to be great, like waves and DAO but until now those who invested during the ICO still not able to sell their coins for a profit.

If you will take a research both coins have raise a great amount to develop the project.

I agree with this  WAVES does   have the potential and  i jave some waves to on bittrex and  didnt spend  or sold them for a cheaper price im still holding it until now and waiting for the right time to sell them off. This is also a good investment and we should not be greedy.
but i think waves are almost there might possible after the full nodes has been complete will be able to expect price will reach the ico or much greater, hope so..

I have invested with waves and they are a great project actually but seems like the ROI is too long to wait so I sold some of my waves for a lose. But still have a little number of waves in Bittrex so that is good already for long term investment.

In my opinion, anyone can avoid it , as far as the person want to, has a self control, a limit and a positive mindset that he can and he will stop with that limit, it's really possible. I think it's just sometimes people get carried away especially when they experience positive result of what they did, but of course it won't be like that always. If the result turns the other way, the person will regret.

exactly. i also believe that greediness can be avoided. it just takes a strong mindset and self control. also you're right with what you said about most of the time it comes from experiencing winning already and earning. that feeling of you gaining triggers a thinking that you can actually get more so you keep on trying without the thought of having enough

I think there’s a difference between wanting money and being greedy, in my opinion there’s nothing wrong with wanting a little bit more money, to want a more comfortable live, etc. Greediness is to want to obtain money no matter the cost. What you are doing is an investment that is all.

We all want money because with a lot of money we can achieve financial freedom like we do what we wanted to do. That is something considered as the ultimatum financial success of every person but if you are a greedy person you will live the rest of your life still searching for money and you will never find true happiness.

Yup, you are right greed is real sickness so that is the big reason gambling sites are still doing very profitable business there, actually it's really hard to make us stop when we are on winning streak because we get more greedy and want more and more from gambling there.

I've been greedy for the past years of my life and it really made my relationship with my friends damaged. And I'm greedy to the point that I won't use any of my money for them.

But they have noticed that I've been doing that and they are the ones who is always spending money for me. So that made my relationship to them damaged.

You are not the only one. A lot of people also like to play with the different kind of martingale as it improve their chances of winning but still not enough to overcome the house edge. That is why they end up losing still. Overall, it is very hard to win against the house. You can win bit and pieces at times but in the long run, the overall expected value is still negative, you lose more than you win.
