Question: Before PoA, do we need merged mining?
Merged mining is a good idea
We do not need merged mining
We need only PoA
We need both merged mining and PoA

Guys,

I opened a ticket at Poloniex because their XDN wallet is temporarly disabled.

I asked them what is the issue.

Their answer:

Quote
Hi x y,

Unfortunately the XDN network seems to be very weak at the moment and we are currently trying to find a working full node to synchronise wallet and transactions. Should you know a reliable full XDN node we would appreciate knowing the IP and port.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Best regards,

Kevin
Poloniex Support

Anyone can help them out with a full node that they can rely on?

I actually run a wallet almost 24/7 how to gather my node's info?

cheers
Hello,
Thank you, that is a very useful info and I would like to answer that.
XDN hashrate is weak, that is true, that is why we are implementing merged mining. To empower the network, to make XDN much more secure.
But in terms of XDN network nodes and XDN seed nodes, everything is all alright. XDN seed nodes are working properly all the time. We have old fashioned Bitcoin DNS style of seed nodes, we never had a problem with that:
  "seed.digitalnote.org:42080",
  "seed.ducknote.org:42080"

But we should update it with the real IP addresses:

64.34.219.46:42080
66.172.27.42:42080
66.172.27.6:42080
76.74.170.207:42080
76.74.219.163:42080

And if anyone has ever been connected to XDN he should have his own peer list.
Thank you.

We are extremely busy with the latest XDN merged minng tests, we are observing FCN network, everything seems to be fine after the HF, FantomCoin hashrate is about 800kh/s now and rising.
After finishing all hardforks and updates, we will start to implement merged mining support in open source pools and miners, and I want to mark, that everyone is more than welcomed to help us and to be ahead of us. Because we will be extremely busy with XDN and FCN in near time.I believe that open source merged mining pool developer can have a great experience and benefit.

You are welcome.
I messaged Poloniex Support with the IP addresses and ports.
Let's see if this fixes the problem.

I will update you guys if they tell me anything else concerning this subject.

Hi!
Thanks for your work!
How can we help? I like the coin, and the potential in it.
I think it is much better than the Bitcoin, especially because of the high anonymity of transactions and communication.

Is anybody on here having trouble depositing and withdrawing XDN funds on Poloniex with the message 'Temporarily Disabled', or is it just me?

Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are happy to announce the major XDN update with merged mining support.
After the hardfork users will be able to mine DigitalNote XDN and any other CryptoNote coin at the same time, using the same energy to protect XDN network. This will extremely empower the XDN network. After all HF we will release merged mining miners and will update open source pool software with merged mining support.

Hardfork height is 317 950

It is very important for everyone to update your XDN to the latest version. We will contact all interested parties before the HF.[/color]
Thank you.

Awesome news - hopefully I'll start mining XDN again once the guys at Minergate add the merged mining into the system. Great work!

Hi
it should be enough, to export your private key from your osx wallet, and import them in your windows wallet.
