anyway that one stunt was disgusting but it become a trend.. especially when idiots here bought in, raising AUR to $14 a coin on cryptsy.

Well, that`s not what Max Keiser said. He should know the difference between 1 Startcoin and 1 US Dollar. I actually don`t care that much about the pre-mine issue, but Mr Keisers tendency for hyberbole it somewhat bewildering me. He is to understatement what Paycoin is to Sound Money.
Anyway, I wish the project all the best. May they have people on board who watch their words better than he does.

Yes it is relevant. Maxcoin was a good coin, but lost Keiser's interest after the much better concept of Startcoin was conceived. Maxcoin is not and never was a part of a financial ecosystem like startcoin is. Startcoin is Max's brainchild, Maxcoin was not, it was a student project that he backed. Maxcoin is also part of the reason Startcoin is still so incredibly cheap because of suspicion from the public.

I think Startjoin is cloudflared, and pretty robust built, but I do not know the details. More accountability would be nice. The addresses for premined blocks can be found on startcoin website.

They have not been quiet at all, you just have not followed the right channels for information. Twitter is most important. Close to nobody care about bitcointalk, but I think it's only fair that it's also posted here when such large events happen.

What is bullshit about the market cap data? Jamie's computers at startjoin knows exactly how many coins from the premine has entered circulation, and that number is included in the Available Supply on http://coinmarketcap.com/ (25,507,235 START). There is another number, Total supply which is currently mined coins + the whole of the premine (56,923,960 START) Finally there is the total number of coins that will ever be mined (pre and not pre) which is 84 million coins.
