It looks like Blockchain.info is doing a survey with similar questions. It'll be interesting to see the results if/when they publish them:

In my country, bitcoin is not yet widespread and popular as in other countries.
There are very few places where we can spend a bitcoin, online or offline.
We just got our first bitcoin ATM.
So, only choice we have right now is either keep our bitcoin funds for later or invest.
I invested some of my BTC in different Internet businesses and some of my BTC funds I still keep in my wallet.

I'm not able to vote for some reason.

I use it for online shopping, money transfer and savings/speculation.

I use it for online shopping. For me bitcoin has become as boring as money.

Bought 40 of these last night. Not very interesting.  Cheesy

Bitcoin is purely speculative for me currently. I plan on holding it for a while until it gains some mainstream traction but then I'd like to be able to spend it on anything I would normally buy with fiat.

Do you use Bitcoin at least once a month? What do you actually use it for? Why? Is it better, cheaper, faster, more convenient than alternatives? Is it the only option?

If those 120.000+ daily transactions are actually real, there must be thousands of Bitcoin users active every day. What are we actually using Bitcoin for? Are we just true believers or are there real reasons to use Bitcoin instead of other available options?

I figure it's about time that we have a clearer picture of actual Bitcoin use cases. Sure, in a year or two the picture will probably change completely, but it's useful info right now for anyone interested in growing our community.

Please answer in as much detail as possible!

hi... i use bitcoin almost everyday... i use it to transfer fund..to do trading.. and to earn some from it..
and YES it is cheaper, faster and it dont need much like banks asking for us.
and top of all i enjoy using it alone... Tongue
i learn much since i use bitcoin, especially regarding the trading... before i dont know anything about it.
but because of bitcoin i learned how it works. and may more.. Tongue

Do you expect to be able to buy the house with Bitcoin, or will you have to exchange it for fiat?

I think it can do both, buying a house with bitcoin or with Fiat, customized with the house owner

It depends on the house owner, if he accept bitcoin as the payment tool, that would be better.
