When and why did you start using Bitcoin?

I started using bitcoin about 3 months ago. At that time, i found bitcoin from an article and i tried to register an account in freebitco.in and coinbase. From that time, i played faucet and started to collect bitcoin.

my registration date, is when, you can notice my first posts where i ask everything about how mining and pool works, because it was the most beautiful aspect of bitcoin for me, now that i can't mine anymore, because it is worthless, i'm a bit sad

and the fact that even altcoin mining is useless makes me even more sad

I first heard of bitcoin in 2009, but didn't think much of it, back then the only mining option available was CPU mining , and the fact that it was impossible to use laptop i had while the
miner was running made me look the other way.
Almost 2 years after that, i heard about it again, and of the new GPU mining that was developed, and since i had some high end GPU cards, i decided to give it a go. It was the start of my GPU farm, which
later evolved into a mix of ASIC and GPU's.
I guess that's the reason why i started to use bitcoin, mainly for the profits, it was only after some time spend doing it that i realized just how much more the idea is worth over that.

I Started using bitcoin 1 year ago and I mainly used it for gambling purposes as I knew the fees of betting are least as compared to that we pay to middle men in the betting so I found it attractive and started using it.

Yeah Gambling is Good and that also by using bitcoins it makes it more attractive and reliable I haven't gambled yet using Bitcoin but now planning to Gamble once just for fun

We assumed he was doing something shady, why else would he use bitcoin? Because mass media told us bitcoin was bad, you know...
Then I actually decided to look into it for myself.

but i have heard about bitcoin much longer before that. maybe around 2-3 years, around the time when everybody was doing solo mining and bitcoin price was skyrocketing through the roof.

the reason that i started using bitcoin was mostly because i liked the technology and idea behind it and also i find trading a great way to earn some extra money.

3 Years ago. My friend introduced it to me and I tried to mine for a bit. My first impression was that this would be revolutionary. I held on to the coins and I'm happy to have made that decision.

I discovered bitcoin around 2010 reading of its existence in some blogs around the web ... also the time I downloaded the client to undermine , but after a few minutes got mad cause I slowed down a lot the computer , I got back in the game in 2013 after hearing about it again

Bitcoin is 7 years old now and we started one year back we were very late go get into bitcoins. Just imagine if we would have invested at the time of its inception today it would be different stories for us.
