When and why did you start using Bitcoin?

i started using bitcoin in 2014 about a year ago. it is around the same date i registered here.

but i have heard about bitcoin much longer before that. maybe around 2-3 years, around the time when everybody was doing solo mining and bitcoin price was skyrocketing through the roof.

the reason that i started using bitcoin was mostly because i liked the technology and idea behind it and also i find trading a great way to earn some extra money.

Bitcoin is 7 years old now and we started one year back we were very late go get into bitcoins. Just imagine if we would have invested at the time of its inception today it would be different stories for us.

yeah. imagine that back then (2010) there was a faucet that gave out 5 free bitcoins to people.

I read it and found how Gavin kindly did giveaway 5 btc per users, and some of the users sent back to him, because the price bitcoin was not high and the users just wanted to check if the giveaway was working or not. That's the moment when the founders and developers tried to develop the bitcoin to people, and get good results now. I'm curious what will be happened to bitcoin in future.

You are very optimist but i think the bitcoin price will not go 900$

It's hard but it's possible. We must hope that a big company start to adopt bitcoin as their alternative payment method, so bitcoin will get trending topic position in newspaper and internet then it's price will go up. But that needs long time

Until now, I was lucky to earn some bitcoin in free ways, through signature campaigns and right now, I'm keeping it in my wallet, hoping that value of BTC will raise again.

Everything can happen, in the beginning the price was low and suddenly the price went very high.

i remember when i was in 2012 i was blogging and just to start to make money online i was played ptc and invest my money to HYIP site i never heard about it before

I think my story is not worth been sent.

I started about a year ago, looking for an alternative to buy digital games (I had no credit card nor money by that time, I also wanted to stop being a pirate -I still have pirate MS Office, I think that will be the last step-).

That's a story that I think need to be heard more often. It can be the average, normal people looking for different ways of a means to an end, and using Bitcoin as a means to that end. It even helps people legitimize their purchases, as your story shows.

A friend got me into it about a year ago. He had all these great things to say about the possibilities and introduced me to this forum. I lurked around for a while and then finally "bit the bullet" and bought some. I could not be happier...especially since the price has dropped since I first got in!
