All you need to do to make the blockchain move is send a transaction to yourself. It will cost you the transaction fee though. You may get lucky and stake the block, so you get might get it back. If you want to move coins from your wallet to exchange, just send it and then soon after, send two transactions to yourself, and it will be confirmed on yobit. Cheesy

It appears the only way to get the blockchain moving is to send a transaction (with it's fee). Every time I sent a transaction to myself and paid the minimum fee, the block chain moved up one. We may need to consider giving a small pos reward to get the block chain moving even without a transaction and it's fee.

The code doesn't allow either zero value or zero reward blocks. That means  a transaction is required for a block to become a valid block - either because it's not a zero value or a zero reward block (due to tx fees) that way. I am currently @ work so no time to check the exact cause.

Easy fix would be a minimal PoS reward per block.

hehe seems quite a nice way to reduce blockchain bloat.

hmm makes me think it would be fun to have a random number generator.
such that the reward is either 0 or 0.01

weighting such that say 90% probability of 0 and 10% of .01

this would slowly move chain along with rewards for stakers, whilst keeping coin count low.
and when someone sends coins, then the tx will trigger a block through fees.

--
however some thought will probably need to go into the handling of staking blocks else they may end up terribly small if the targeting isnt handle deftly.

It wont be enough to add a reward into the block.  My testing seems to indicate that you need to have a transaction fee in each block, the reward POS will not progress the chain.

Because this coin is so low mintage, the transaction fee should be lowered considerably.  Right now it is 0.00001 (Which is the same as the stake reward) it should be lowered to .0000001

Sorry, thats not correct. Simply look at a random PoS block (between block 5000 and 6000) where stake rewards were 0.01 and no additional transaction was included in the block:

http://cryptobe.com/block/2b1593501eae501079813a56aec4015c15a0a47983f5ea311344b7ab8a94d8a7

The first input in that block is the PoS reward generation (PoS  rewards are generated as negative transaction fees), the second input is staked coins split into two inputs (0.25 -> 2x 0.13).

unless you're testing on a seperate chain.
there does not seem to be any way to test with a reward included.

a) what?
b) why wouldn't you be able to test PoS rewards on a separate network/environment?
c) what?

lol yes exactly. my verbosity is lacking at times.

The code may be easy to fix. But the community would also have to get new seed nodes and convince Yobit to accept the hardfork. Or the dev could come back from his "2" day vacation...
