Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

SPEC General Roadmap has been added to the SPEC Announcement. This roadmap will be refined as we go and each point will be followed by its own relative information.

Some of the smaller projects will be worked on concurrently as the larger projects are underway. Smaller projects may be added if they are needed & serve a greatly USEFUL purpose to the SPEC community.

Nice looking road map dev. Wonder what specstream entails?

Thank you for the kinds words. And overview of each service will be released at some point in the near future. We will also be releasing more detailed information about each point of the timeline in the form of a comprehensive whitepaper.

TL;DR Do you expect to have this coin online by 2016? That's what all cryptos said, now they're all dead.

There are some planned features for the actual SPEC wallet that will fall within its own timeline separate from the associated services timeline. We are focused on getting the services finished, tested and released. Wallet updates or upgrades will most likely be in between projects as time passes, from the looks of things right now. If enough people want anon functions, we will add it. We feel as though wallet features shouldnt be a projects sole focus to success, and that services are the key to building a strong community.

The roadmap is not bad. However as stated by here some posts ago, the amount of premine held by the dev team is too high compared with the time it will take to produce such supply.
Will you have a stated public address for the premine?

Thanks. The roadmap is a visualization of our intent to lead by example and build usable services around SPEC. If others see substance in what we are doing, we believe some of them will follow in our footsteps and roll out services of their own.

The premine is a representation of just how extensive this is all going to get. We have cash reserves, btc reserves as well as SPEC reserves. At some point we may run into a situation where we have to outsource something or bring on more devs, and they will prefer USD over bitcoin/SPEC, some will prefer btc over usd or SPEC. Some will prefer SPEC. The important thing is we have the resources to make all of this happen. Its because we were honest when discussing the project months ago, that we have these resources.

If the question is simpler as in "Hey is the premine going to be dumped?" The answer is no. The premine will never directly see an exchange, however we dont control what those being paid in spec will do. Whether it be to hold them, sell them etc. That is why when someone is paid in spec, it is in portions so as not to disrupt what the community has created exchange price wise. This spec will never be paid out in a way that upsets what the community and or traders have created. The bigger picture for us is positioning services like CryptoWatcher, Digital Currency Streaming Service and CoinFundMe for investments/funding etc.

We have a good understanding of what its going to take to build the intended services AND go beyond services like CryptoWatcher, CoinFundMe, etc. Its going to cost USD, BTC, SPEC, and Time. The fact is, its happening. Regardless of SPEC hitting exchanges, anyone loving our approach etc. What we bring to the table (we believe) is bigger and more on par with the more successful projects from the past.

Our advice to anyone who is weary of anything they may see here, is to simply revisit us once we are at the point that we are rolling out the intended services. There is no harm in coming back after significant progress is made by the dev team. This is a completely voluntary endeavor. If someone is not on board with this project, just simply revisit once we have started rolling out the timeline. We will still be here.

Dear SPEC Community,

We are about to ask Yobit.net to respectfully remove SPEC from its listings. We realize at this point it is the only exchange that has listed SPEC, however some of actions they have taken recently (specifically Yovi Rise Only Market) have us a bit concerned. We must respectfully request that you bring any coin held on YoBit.net, back into a SPEC QT within your possession.

Keep in mind they may decide not to delist. At this point they have removed any trace of us asking in their Yovi ANN page, and will not respond to messages here or on their site. They have also removed any trace of users speaking about it in chat.

Because this is the only exchange that has listed SPEC to date and we are asking for removal, we have agreed to purchase any SPEC with a coin age older than this post. The current Rate (39 satoshi) will be honored with us. This is for those that do not agree with what we are requesting of Yobit and dont wish to continue further with us. If you agree with our thinking and wish to stay on, then Cheers, its awesome to have you with us for sure.

We have GREAT things planned for this entire project and things are moving along rather quickly in the background, with awesome stuff happening daily. The best is yet to come, and I personally know that sometime soon everyone will see the bigger picture as our vision of services start rolling out.

Best Regards
-James

Although CryptoWatcher is our top priority at this moment, we do understand that those who mine SPEC wish it to be on an exchange. We will be making any and all exchange announcements throughout our announcement pages and social media accounts once its time to do so.

Props to you guys. What yobit has created could not be anymore illegal. I assume it is to try to create volume, because they have none. This will come back on them x10 and those purchasing coins from yobit have a limited time to withdraw. Was nice to see spec on an exchange, but because the price was not right I will hodl. Now if we could get past these crazy difficult blocks! Keep up the good work and high integrity spec crew!

yeah i noticed yobit staff deleted the posts about delisting request from their troll box and also from the main yobit thread. and the way they are implementing rules without any pre announcement i will take whole buch of coins from exchange before they put hold on their wallets.

If traders are just realizing the dev team holds a large amount of premine then they are not traders... The premine has been no secret. Suggesting that this is why spec dev team wants to be delisted is silly. The coin has done fine on the exchange. It is trading at mining cost somewhat, and has had as much volume as any other coin on yobit. You do not think yovi is a clear as day ponzi? They are literally making up the rules as they go along. It could not be anymore illegal, and I do not blame spec team for requesting a delist yobit or nobit.

OK, well sorry to burst ya bubble guys, but if you look carefully at the OP the layout of the apparent cryptowatch does not include yobit, in fact, it looks very similar to a coin made just a few months ago of which the dev dissapeared.

Thank you for the kind words. Yeah we didnt try to surmise the reasoning behind it. What Yobit.net decides to do is completely up to them. Being a new project, We would just honestly prefer to focus on creating quality services that people will actually use. However if Yovi Rise Only causes YoBit trouble to the point they shut down, its better people have their SPEC in hand before that can potentially happen.

lol which one jambo? I mean come on 9 out of 10 devs disappear. I have been doing this a while and I am fully aware of the risk involved. Btw why would cryptowatch want to monitor yobit? For that 20 btc volume? I think not including yobit in the cryptowatch was a given. Now back to the yovi ponzi... what exactly do you think will happen here? The price will rise forever and ever? Hate to burst YOUR bubble, but what they are doing is not ok and if you think authorities do not see us you are blind. This will not go on very long. Look at what they have done already. They just changed the entire trading structure of the "coin" with no preann... Sorry man but yovi is an illegal ponzi scheme.
