Politicians always wanna more ,they steal money all days from the people to buy  a new car a new house to travel,if bitcoin get bigger interest and some people start to moove funds apointing bitcoin banks will react and government will rule all.

exactly this, but dont forget that people can learn, maybe with bitcoin they can learn that things need to be changed not only by using a cryptocurrency as is coin but also changes his mind about politics and how things need to be changed.

who know maybe bitcoin is just the first step to a real/better evolution of humanity.

About the main thread, i love that brazil is doing this step, well done brazil Smiley

IMHO #1.b of suspects, Hal Finney is/was S.N.

Good to know that a well know country like Brazil has more than 150 stores that accepts bitcoin. Although others says 150+ stores is nothing in a country like Brazil because it's huge, still a good thing. It's additional exposure.

Brazil government is not like Egyptian government , executing people for using cryptos,  I like the way Brazil is following i guess soon the Brazil will be place where all commodities will be nearly available for Bitcoin.

In India a new news Flashed when politicians are involving them self in Bitcoin and hiding Their black money In Private keys instead of Swiss Bank !1

Good to see. it's remarkable to me that Bitcoin interest has remained strong in Latin America even though we're not in the bubble anymore.

Some say 150 stores is nothing for such a big country, but I think that's great for a start. Thanks Brazil! Keep it up!

So what is the current legal status of Bitcoin in Brazil? I am going there in a month and it would be a great way to bring some money down there without going through the banks. I am going to a town outside of Brasilia and I was wondering if there were any Bitcoin ATMs in that city. Thank you.

Signatures? How about learning a skill... I don't care either way. Everybody has to make a living somehow.

I hope Bicoin gets popular in south america, there are many guys there that need some easy methods to transfer money globally.

Imagine, total elimination of poverty. That would be some achievement isnt it?

I think bitcoin will become big in the 3rd world and developing countries due to currency instability and exchange controls by governments. Also, some countries do not have access to Paypal so bitcoin is a viable option in those places.

Taking into consideration how volatile the Brazilian Real is, we will have many more stores accepting Bitcoin in the future in Brazil.

We just started a discussion about this problem in another thread. Feel free to join:

No shit, almost all of south america is in economic turmoil. All their currencies is going south, and soon the rest of the world will join.

I dont know how friendly the governments will be (ecuador banned bitcoin...) but one thing is certain that the citizens wont let their hard earned wealth being flushed down the toilet.

So good luck S America with bitcoin!

They either didnt heard of it, or are very skeptical.

Most store owners are old people, who dont like "new stuff", its a well known fact that old people are less innovative, which is a shame.

So bitcoin will mostly be popular with younger and open minded people.
