Good news! I hope i can see the sign map like that in my country.
When bitcoin market is growing up at some country like this, it will be a good future and good for the price.

Yeah this is really a good news I hope that bitcoin was endorsed as the RIO Olympics did happened to that country. And hopefully that is going to happen too in my country that more than 150 stores too are going to accept bitcoin so that I can enjoy the usage of bitcoin. I hope someone is going to update that how many is the total stores already in Brazil that accepts bitcoin.

Yeah but its impossible right now because not all people in our country knows about it because of lack of knowledge and some are not fortunate to have an internet connection. even our government are not recognize it yet, so im hoping that in the future they were going to accept bitcoin as payment in stores.

Nice to hear that, bitcoin is spreading all over the world. I wish I could also use bitcoin in my country  as payment method.but unfortunately in my country almost 99% people didn't hear bitcoin.Anyway, hoping bitcoin will grow up fastly like this and one day I.will be able to use bitcoin in my country easily.
Which country? I am sure bitcoin have already famous.
It is only the matter of time bitcoin could spread evenly , soon or later bitcoin will available in your country stores.
In my country there several offline store available to accept bitcoin but not as much as in brazil.
in indonesia has many who knew the bitcoin and there are some selling also make payments through bitcoin, perhaps future bitcoin can be set as an alternative to payments in indonesia
Wow, maybe in your country the bitcoin can evolve for easily and I think the government is very ensured with their civilian's freedom, because i think just a little percentage for the country can ensure their civilian's freedom.

Government has yet to formalize a bitcoin as genuine currency, only an awful lot already know bitcoin, I also often introduce bitcoin to their friends and relatives also followed me to find additional income, it is possible that future bitcoin can be grown in indonesia

How was successful was bitcoin sales in Rio Brazil during the Olympic games?
Did it make it more well known to merchants to use and will it continue to be a choice for payment in the future there starting in South America and eventually branch off into the other Americas?

Same here that we are still dont have stores locally that can accept bitcoin as payment. but brazil its one of the example that they can accept bitoin as payment. so i think if more countries are accepting bitcoin as payment more people and countries will incourage to accept bitcoin for payment processor..

I would be interested to know this too, can anyone get stats on this?

Some good advertising for bitcoin would have been to give some btc to each athlete so they could spend during their time in Rio, might have been a safer option than cash for some of them.

Don't worry that is going to happen as we are going to keep on supporting bitcoin each countries are going to be like Brazil. But this is already in history of bitcoin industry that Brazil is the country that is the first country that adopts bitcoin by having a lot of stores that are now accepting bitcoin. I think they are over 200+ now.

That is actually a great thing, but i'm just curious to know that how they work? I mean does government allow them to use it? What happens when the price drops with their business? Just want to know.

Since Brazil is poor country maybe Bitcoin is one of the ways that people there could make their lives easier and help them to get into better economic status. But I don't think that usingw Bitcoin has support in banks and governement.

150 stores is indeed a big number. The future of Bitcoin is for sure a bright one.

We grow from 30 to 150 in 6 months Smiley
That's a really good growth. Currently There're 29 "businesses" who accept bitcoin in Turkey (I think there're more but we may not be able to track them) Some of them are listed on coinmap.org
(Turkish List is here: http://coin-turk.com/turkiyede-bitcoin-kabul-eden-yerler/ )

I hope there'll be such jump in Turkey too.

First we need to build our coalition, then make pressure to government. Bitcoin has no where in Turkish law, they can't explain its situation too.

Brazil has a law for Bitcoin? How do stores keep their Bitcoin and how do they pay taxes?

In Brazil, we don't have specific law for bitcoins.
The stores can to receive in bitcoin, but it need to do an invoice in BRL.
This suggests there is a very good condition fot growing bitcoin and they may usr it to rscape payong costs
For such a country is 150 shops allot because i can tell you some countrys that does not even have 10 shops where you can go with your bitcoins and then i am talking about a country in europe that is not even 10 times smalles than brazil but i think there are more bitcoin users so i dont understand why brazil  has that lot of shops.

For other places it would still take sometime for shops to accept bitcoin as a payment but in brazil they are already a lot and increasing with the time, so that is a really great thing for bitcoin and the community to get adopted in a large number in a country like brazil, we can see signs on brightness for future already.

same here, the enegy for my country is very expensive. totally not worth it at all. the cost of mining is like 1000x the reward. so unless the price of btc now is 400,000$ usd otherwise it wont be benefit for me.

Great news, I just planned a trip to Rio in October and my pockets are burning! Hoping to enjoy the trip and find out some places to spend bitcoins. If bitcoins keep developing like this then I see a very bright future. Imagine being able to pay your groceries with bitcoins, amazing!

brazil is not that much poor BTW. and that much bitcoin stores are there it proves that they are well aware of benefit of bitcoin and they are not poor.
poor people don't use bitcoin they don't even know what bitcoin is. bitcoin is a technology. and only well devolped countries suppose to use bitcoin..
BTW making lives with bitcoin is very easy I accept that.
