Now that I think about it, even if bitcoin were to crash to $0.01, the knowledge I've gotten will have been worth it.

I think this is the most important lesson so far for me as well.. Got new insights in how the world works and how to become more secure online. (before bitcoin I never heard of 2fa for instance..)

Speaking in terms of additional benefits after knowing bitcoin, I learnt the importance of privacy. Then, I learnt how to maintain my privacy in this world and the tools which can assist me in maintaining that, then I learnt about so many opportunities which exist in the digital world. Then, I discovered world problems and people with potential to solve them, and I've made great friends here Smiley

Yes, even I did not know about vpn services until I got into bitcoin world. I discovered new ventures which once successful, will be such a bright addition on my resume. Once I am done gaining experience by working for others and growing a little more older, I have plans to begin my new ventures which I will be funding through btc Wink

Exactly, vpn services are something like blessing to us, I came to know about it only when I started working on bitcoins, and there are many other new things which I learnt and we will keep on learning everyday something new.

Oh you discussed about terms huh , these are some of following terms I learned upon entering bitcoin world last March of this year:

-Bits , MBTC , UBTC
-Martingale (Yes, I just started to play online gambling because of bitcoin)
-Odds
-Money Line
-House Edge
-Escrow
-WTB , WTS
-Whale

and many more.

Entering bitcoin world gives me an additional knowledge and I know in the future that I will gained more knowledge about bitcoin.

You are much interested in gambling with bitcoin.
Btw how much did you earn or increased your Bitcoin by gambling.
I tried that but at last the house always wins due to the house edge.

Nope Im not interested in gambling. I just play it because I thought I can win big back in my newbie days. Like in a dice. I earned 0.03btc a day using martingale system in my first try. Then eventually after 2 - 3 days playing my whole profit goes to zero. But I learned my lesson now. Now I only bet on sports which has no house edge to beat.

But anyways , gamble only the amount you afford to lose.

I don't know the game so not really up to date with the rules and regulations of that game, was it important for you to bet all? Go big or go home? I have gambled in casinos occasionally and thought I have wished to go all in, I never have. I do not believe in that ideology and think its the most stupid thing to do. My gambling mindset is to invest a little money and continue only if I win. Whatever I win becomes the only money I play with ahead, and if I end up losing it, I go home and call it even, I don't go an extra mile to get my buck back.

Gamble on sports that you follow, you should be well aware about the game and all the statistics related to the game, that would help you in winning a good amount of profit, I gamble on both the teams depending on the odds and make sure I won something at the end of the day.

Well said mate. Every person has his own way to control gambling.

Yes I gambled only on Basketball because that is my favorite sport. With my knowledge and some ideas about the team that will play, I can setup my own fearless forecast in that match. If I dont have an idea about both team Im doing research about it before I bet.

The most important thing when you are getting involved in gambling through sports is know exactly who your bookie is, and if he is reliable. Do not listen to his opinions and how he knows which team will win, choose yours and base it completely on stats.. You ca never have favorites when you are gambling, the only favorites you should have when gambling is money Wink

you feel calm? I dont feel calm at all, even though its a form of financial disrupt to a decentralization.

the price volatility makes me very un-calm at the same time..

I came into bitcoin because of decentralization and as it's price is so volatile.
I can earn much by day trading and with arbitrage.
And also it is helping me to save my taxes.

I am also uncalm due to price Volatility because I am a trader and want some profits off it.
But when I buy high and prices fall then that makes me uncalm on making my profit.

you're just saying the same BS another noob website would talk about bitcoin. Let me question your knowledge, if you allow me please. (Note: This comment is directed to this individual only) Q1) Which cities bitcoins are used as currency? What useful purposes? Q2) What did you purchase online, do you even hold any btc? Q3) I don't have a credit card, how is bitcoin helping me? I don't get credit from btc Smiley Q4) Nowadays bank cheat? Banks have always cheated, but when did bank cheat you personally? Had such an experience? Bitcoin isn't a savior, it is not a cure, it is an alternative, deal with it noobs.
