litecoin will be $40 soon, and trade volume will overtake bitcoin
we all mostly agree on that, but the question was more when. "soon" is too relative.
So if you or someone else could came up with more precise guesses it would be interesting.
(time span with reasons why please)

couple months or sooner. Trade volume already surpassed bitcoins

By November, the price will have dropped to $4.70, $4.50, or $3.50. From there, it might go to $3.70 by December. By March 2016, the price will go to ether $3.65, $5.40 or $5.53

Nice trading! Cheesy
you are too optimistic, the price will fall back within month.

How much further do you think litecoin can go? It has already risen 5x in price..

Allow me to butt in with my thoroughly subjective take on the matter. Smiley If a formerly flatlining alt goes up to the point where I get nervous, continues to go up to the point where I'd head for the hills if I had any (it would have been 0.015 had I bought some when LTC was in the dumps), and then goes up even more, then it's in a new bull market.

Had I had the wherewithal to put some funds into LTC, I'd wait until the current frenzy cooled and thread like these died down...just like I shoulda done after the first pre-halving pump to ~$1.80 (sigh)

(Yeah, I know, I never learn...)

If I understand correctly you mean buying in after the current frenzy? When it settles at a stable line again?

Yes, exactly that.

Er, ahem: https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/wtf-just-happened-to-litecoin-and-bitcoin/

the chinese are hungry for investment opportunieties since their income increased in the past.
Mostly the amjority are bloody newcomers which would invest in nearly everything.
I read a lot of storys they traded raw stones where might be jade inside as investment. (in fact its more like lotto/roulettte)

So i guess that's promoters have and easy game to collect victims in china.

Ok now i calculated a bit, when he had 78 mio usd worth of Litecoin, he already blowed his load,
since 78mio selled at 0.020 are round a bout 1,3mio Litecoin. This is the amount of
That volume cleared at BTC-e alone on the move from 0.03 to 0.02.
The amount controlled by that dude was only 1/10 of the 24h overal volume of LTC.
So need to fear a chinese Ryan Lee  Wink

So if people  dont panic, business as usual. The dude got his profit and is out, so i see no problem.
On Cryptsy the 0.020 support seem strong. Someone had a buywall at 0.02 with large volume.
Priceaction is ready for a new takeoff.
Just my thoughts. So i will not exit since my target is far away, and no real reason.

greetings

This pullback was needed regardless of the reason it happened. Now LTC needs a couple of days to cool off and a slow march forward again to make this rise legitimate in the minds of many. Everyone was ready for it to crash any second was probably just as instrumental in the fall as was the manipulation.

Also, it is helpful to keep in mind we are only back to where were were 2 days ago price-wise. If this holds, or at least can maintain $5 I see another uptrend in the works. If nothing else we still have the block halving coming up.

A few more jumps and bumps until the halving after which it will resume its inexorable slow death.

Very true.. Just rising rising rising is not natural for any coin.. I still beleive 0.02 is a fair price for the moment, but maybe we can get closer to the 1/4th of bitcoin target with some more development in litecoin.

The Chinese pumpers switched over to DASH. I think the price will see $3 again soon. If Greece crisis will continue the price could be stabilize somewhere between $3 and $5 for some time.

Actually LTC could go back to the price it was at when this all started. Since that guy has nothing to lose and it's all profit for him.

lol 50% is nothing compared to the ~525% value gain before....
look at the buy walls it seems they accumulate now and at 0.014 - 0.015
but waiting for a bottom can be a good idea when you are flat, when you are in minus i would buy more depending on the entry price.

It seems today is a good day, BTC has made a new high of 305usd and like i predicted in an other thread,
when BTC manages to stay above 300 we can expect the start of a new trend.
Offcourse 5 usd is not much, maybe btc needs 1 day more.
BTC has broken the 287usd resistance and on the W1 Chart over the MA20 and Ma36.
The signs are bullish, i hope for some good christmas gifts this year   Cheesy
