Always thought the $100.000 was total bulshit but can't help hoping it will get there eventually.

Please put down the number you think it will reach not the number you hope it will be  Cool

what is this obsession with many years from now, stick to the short one year max price Cheesy

if you want what i hope , i hope it goes to $1,000,000,000 but we all know that we don't usually get what we hope in life.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I have been wrong in the past, so better don't believe the following prediction: In 2020 Bitcoin - if it hasn't dropped to zero - will be valued  >$1000 for sure, it might reach $10k, but I'm not sure about that. The outcome might greatly depend on USD inflation.

Imho the success/failure of Bitcoin greatly depends on business acceptance and simplified access. I hope we will see improvements continue in these areas.

The year 2020 is a long ways away from now. It is very hard to make long-term predictions. I don't know what Bitcoin has in store for it in the coming 5 years. But I think it is possible for some major things to happen during that time frame. Possibly new tech to enhance Bitcoin or to simplify it for the masses, or maybe something like a major Bitcoin startup will happen and materialize. These may impact the price, or maybe the block halving will. I think there may be two block halvings in total by the end of 2020 too. No one knows for sure though, we just have to wait and see.

Well, I hope 200-300$ range will remain until the halving, so I can get enought bitcoin to my early retirement.
And the, I hope it will go to 5000-10000$ in the next years.

Go get a job instead of wasting ur time with scams

5 years from now, I think that bitcoin will settle on the $500-$1000 range, though there is also a possibility that bitcoin might even reach $10k. Let's be realistic here, in the current times bitcoin can't cross the $300 range, what more on the higher levels? 5 years is like forever in bitcoin world, many things could happen; $10k is possible, also $100, but it heavily depends on how crazy the market will be in the future.

2 halvings until 2020, so I think two more bubbles, leading the price close to 10k.

I think it could be around 1500$ to 2000$ because its not long time just 5 years and we can touch this figure very easily

if mainstream adoption is getting stronger by that time, i.would say around $4000. don't think it will go much higher than that.

I don't think a 4-digit value is realistic.

It'll either be 5 digits or higher

or it'll hover around 200-600

Or it'll be worth less than $10.

I can't imagine slow organic growth for bitcoin. Everyone has already heard of bitcoin, if they didn't decide to join in now, there's no reason they'll slowly change their mind.

Their has to be some event, whether a killer app or some sort of financial crisis, or something, that will push a lot of people into crypto. Or the amount of interest remains similar/less.

It'll either be $1000+ or less than $10.  That's my prediction and I think it's very possible to go either way.

the less then 10 dollar moment is only if something seriously happened with how similar when people were freaking out of 1mb confirmation and forks.

unless something like that happens, and making bitcoin to respond slower I dont see this anytime soon.

<$1 or >$10,000

Depends on if we get mass adoption or not. Right now it appears Bitcoin popularity is trending higher.

I mean it can only go upwards, I just saw a recent statement with the okcupid founders the popular dating app.

they personally got VC`s to back up their own "small project" which they claim. So you see more and more money being pumped to bitcoins community.

the question is, I feel like bitcoin already had a spotlight for last 4 or 5 years now.

being on cnn articles and other popular sites, that still didnt really increase any price of value. So its either people dont care about bitcoin or they just rather stick with fiat money.
