How did you first hear about bitcoin?

I know bitcoin after the WannaCry attack. I heard that people who is the victim of Wannacry must pay 300 $ in bitcoin. After that, i searched google about bitcoin and found that bitcoin is INTERESTING.,:)

I have heard it in a social media too and  Yeah thats a good thing about that issue. They just meet bitcoin in a crime its a bit funny but good thing is bitcoin becomes more popular and many people get interested on it. The bad thing is tje government may be triggered out that resulting them to not legalize it too early.

Well the same thing happened to me when I lost interest with bitcoin after my friend introduced it to me.  Maybe because it was like unreal and very complicated for me to understand.  A digital currency with a value and can be used as money?  For me it was a big deal.  So I just find some ways to earn online but then I was always pointed to bitcoin.  So here I am now.

The first time i heard bitcoin feels weird because this system is a system that is not controlled by any party either government agencies or other agencies. But it makes me interested to learn it and want to be a part of bitcoin users. I have the same situation as yours. I first heard bitcoin from my close friend and I thought it was just a random networking scheme again. But when he showed to me his total earnings and money, I got hooked immediately and I kept bugging him for a week just to teach me the basics of everything. In my case, my brother introduced Bitcoin to me. At first, I wasn't that much interested. I don't even know what bitcoin is and its uses. Until he showed me his account showing me his earnings.
