In modern day cricket, any score under 250 isn't going to be enough in these ODI and Bangladesh will surely lose this match. Najmul Hossain Shanto played a 77 runs innings but i thought he batted too slowly. His strike rate was only 70, even less than a ball. They lost wickets continuously. Jaker Ali made 45 but he was also run out. Bangladesh batting never looked that they can make a decent total. New Zealand team were too good for them and they don't stand any competition with them.

In some cases, 236 runs were collected by some team in T20Is, but Bangladesh gave New Zealand a target of 237 runs, which the New Zealand batsmen collected very easily. This match was played between a strong and a weak team. In this match Bangladesh played well despite being weak but New Zealand did not let them succeed in any way with their hard work and thinking and playing.  Obviously the playing power between New Zealand and Bangladesh is not equal as Bangladesh bowled hard on their batsmen due to which they could score only 236 runs and only 5 wickets were taken from their bowlers and they could not stop the runs due to which they lost.  New Zealand was strong due to which they played well and won the match. If Bangladesh had the same strength as New Zealand then the match between them would have been interesting and tough which could have made this ICC match quite big. New Zealand's team is strong and their bowlers took very easy targets which led them to an easy win.  If you look at the performance of the Bangladeshi batsmen, their batsmen gave good account of their efforts to the target due to which they put in all kinds of effort.  But New Zealand is strong which made it easy for them to win this match and won the match which caused disappointment for Bangladesh and also disappointed people for them.   New Zealand was not playing well due to Bangladesh's pressure and New Zealand's lack of interest in it but they played well after that and won the match.  New Zealand batsmen achieved this target in 46 overs and won the match. I completely agree with English players concerns about this but here also need to check few things as this is happening because of India's arrogance and the weakness of the ICC if they care about cricket then all can go without any controversy but too much involvement of politics hurting this game badly.

English lost against Australia is part of the game no one caring about result because it's all happening while you are in ground for playing game, but India is surely taking good advantage of staying into Dubai and playing all games on one ground which is surely not good for others those will be played against them in coming games.

I am feeling they could be able to qualify for the last four because now they are having good improvement, and they can beat Afghanistan and South Africa if weathers not gone against them which is now biggest threat for them.

I'm not sure if they would be able to win today against Afghanistan today; South Africa is an even stronger team. Almost every bowler economy rate was over six with Jamie Overton the most expensive of all.

England are still in the game with current score of 197/4. They still need 129 runs and they have 17 overs in hand. It is possible with current batsmen playing ,Joe Root and Jos Buttler but if anyone gets out now, things can be even more difficult for the English team.

Can England still win from here? They are able to, but at the same time, they are already batting at a loss for six wickets. They need 90 runs in 64 balls. England just has to make partnerships that also help to increase their run rate. Right now, Jamie Overton and Joe Root are batting. Joe Root is also on 95. He is so close to making his century. At this stage, Afghanistan needs to pick his wicket, helping them to reach the win; otherwise, somehow, Joe Root has the ability to change the game, and maybe his century can turn into a game changer for England.

The special arrangement for Indian team was necessitated by the fact that the ICC went for hybrid mode this time. If the hybrid mode was not there, then the BCCI would have asked the ICC to shift the entire tournament to the United Arab Emirates. And this would have opened a can of worms, as PCB would lose valuable gate collection and other forms of revenue.

The two semi-finalist teams from Group B have already been confirmed, now the problem is only with Group A. As England have lost two out of two matches, even if England win the match against South Africa, they will have no chance of advancing to the next round. 

Now the equation is that if England wins the match between England and South Africa then South Africa will have to look forward to the Australia vs Afghanistan match. If Australia wins the match between Australia vs Afghanistan then Afghanistan will not qualify for the next round while South Africa will be the second team to qualify for the next round. But if Afghanistan win then next round of Afghanistan is confirmed but at that time net run rate will be calculated again because Australia and South Africa point 3 in case of net run rate whichever team is ahead will confirm the semi final.

Now if the matter is that South Africa wins against England then South Africa will secure the next round and Afghanistan who win the match against Australia will secure the next round.
