India Vs SriLanka

Although India will win this match easily, not as we expected them to win. They will win this game but we had hopes to see amazing batting by Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer but we have see the opposite because they are the main players and they have to play amazingly but they all play so poorly except Rohit Sharma.

Both today match teams already played T20 tournament each other of 3 matches and outcome of this tournament that India made a easy win in tournament with 3 wins and today game,  what a unexpected result was came in 1st game and everyone (before start of game) was believe Indian team win game easily. Also Sri lanka did not win this game but they managed to level the match. India team just needing one run to win but all batsman wicket was out and also three overs left for play. India lose some good wickets in last over. Both teams showed great teamwork with determination with Sri Lanka successfully stopping a normal target of 230. Rohit Sharma and Dube both showcased amazing skill of batting but other batsman did not support. Sri Lankan bowlers Asalanka and Hasaranga both bowled exceptionally good and each bowlers taking three wickets.

In yesterday’s match between Sri Lanka and India, the team of Sri Lanka don’t had an amazing and good start. As they lost their one wicket on 2.3 over. There was a point when everyone was saying it would be won by the Indian team but after some time the game had fully shifted the momentum.



After the 10th over, once again the Indian team rose and they picked one more wicket after that, 4 overs later the Sri Lanka team lost a wicket once again and after struggling too hard they reached to 231 but their bowlers played amazingly to defend this moderate total and this match was drawn.

Yes the way the Sri Lanka batsmen play and target it was clear to everyone that their perform was not good.  And everyone including me was very sure that India would win this match.  But the way Sri Lanka bowled after 40 overs would have made their perform even better.  And their bowler put a lot of pressure I think Sri Lanka bowled out the entire India team for the first time in 47 overs.  But his luck could not win him the match.  India batsmen scored 230 runs to level the match.  If India had a single batsman the target would have been achieve.  But India batsmen could not complete the target and luck did not favor them either. Sri Lanka can make themselves strong if they want to but they do not try which is why they miss out on winning the match.

Yes, I did not predict this match but I expected WSF to do well in this match.  And their batsmen have really put up a brilliant display of batting.  Their batsmen have given a huge target of 207 in 20 overs and this was the final match.  Because there is a lot of stress and pressure in the finals.  But their batsmen did not slow down their pace and worked hard and gave a tough target.  And if you pay attention to their bowler their bowler has also bowled very well.  Their bowler won the match by out the entire team in 16 overs.  Congratulations to him for this win.  I have seen 23 matches of SF but I have seen them defeat them.  And could not win the match due to their weakness.  He has been advised many times to make good his hard work and struggle.  

VAK Squad played first and made 149/4 runs. Excellent batting by Richie Berrington scored 38 runs and remained unbeaten and Asif Ali played 36 runs innings, both helped his team to posted the target of 150 runs for BRW. BRW bowling Brilliant Thomas Draca took two wickets. BRW successfully chased the total the loss of four wickets and 2 over spare in the game. Beau Webster played a magnificent 49 runs on just 37 deliveries, helping his team to win the game, while Nick Hobson, with 37 runs on the crease both players contributed good runs to the team total. VAK teams fought hard but failed to defend this average total and lost this game very badly.

Yesterday in Global T20 Canada, both matches 12th and 13th were declared to finish without any outcome. First 12th match Toronto Nationals sqaud against Montreal Tigers sqaud has begun and because of bad weather condition and heavy rain, 20 overs inning were reduced to 6 overs but still match not reach to end and end after playing 2 overs. Montreal Tigers sqaud has begun this match first with batting and managed 25 scores with lost of 2 batter wickets. Second match was also finished same like this match with no outcome and became of rain interruption overs reduce to 18 but after batting 5 overs this match was also stopped and declared to end and Vancouver Knights batted 5 overs with collecting 25 scores and their squad performance was not going great their sqaud took advantage of rain and all sqauds yesterday matches got 1 point each.

I think the Indian T20 squad for this series is much better than this ODI one.  Just there is Virat Kohli to make the hype otherwise he had no performance last night at Colombo. But he has history and a good player, which is why the T20 squad is many times better than the ODI
I think the Indian team should give a chance to young players and give rest to Virat Kohli especially against small teams as Virat is a big match player and there is not much motivation for him in the matches with below-par teams.

231 runs should have been made by the top quality Indian batsmen while they were facing the average bowlers of the Sri Lankans team.
Although the match is drawn but i would consider it a success for the Srilankan team.

Yes I agree with you in this fact. Players like Virat Kohli may not retain the same motivation as against the usual comparatively weak teams. Because they are not a battle of such team. And if this type of match is played by the new  players, it is possible to get relatively good results. Here the newcomers are given the opportunity to be aware of their performance at the same time and the new players will also try to come out with their best. India cricket can benefit from both sides. It is true Indian cricket is quite strong in T20 format whereas ODI format is not so strong.
