When Pakistan had such a good start in the batting, so why did they lose the momentum  

Pakistan lost a wicket when they were near 100, or maybe they had crossed it, but then Saim Ayub came, he hit two to three boundaries, and then he was gone. I think at that time Pakistan should have made a partnership instead of focusing on boundaries but at the same time, if they would had run between wickets and did not score boundaries so they may come under pressure  and India would have been in the upper hand. At the end of the day, I think Pakistan had to maintain the partnership and maintain each and everything but they completely messed up things.

Yes New Zealand batting was excellent scoring 181 runs was strong effort. It is tough for player to score brilliant century and still lose match. However most important part was Australia dominant chase. They easily reached target with 6 wickets and 21 balls to spare mainly because of Mitchell Marsh's 85 runs along with good support from Travis 31 runs and Mathew 28 runs. Main reason New Zealand lost was their very poor bowling. In this format big score is not enough. New Zealand bowlers let Australia batsmen score too easily making 181 look like small target.
