The ICC has warned it's members that the revenues for the next broadcasting cycle (2028-2031) would be up to 30% lower than the current one (2024-2027). And this would mean lower contributions to all of the members. This would seriously cripple the cricket funding in associate nations. India is unlikely to alter their demand that 40% of the revenues should go to them. So if the ICC wants to keep the funding for associates unchanged, the cut needs to be made elsewhere. Surprises can always happen. Even during 2024-2027, no one expected the TV deal to be worth $3 billion.

Lower number of ICC events would mean even less revenue for the ICC, and thereby lower amounts being distributed to each of the member boards. The best thing for ICC to do is to cut down the test matches. Almost all of the full members play 50 to 60 days of test cricket, eating away a large chunk of the calendar. Two-division test cricket would have solved this issue, but then weaker countries such as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are against that idea. It is nice to see franchise T20 leagues getting themselves established in some of the smaller associate nations. USA already has the Major League Cricket (MLC), but the market there is quite large compared to the one in Nepal. Global T20 Canada has flopped, while International T20 in United Arab Emirates has only witnessed limited success. NPL brought good revenues for Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) last year, and according to reports it will be much higher this year.

Today three more matches of Abu Dhabi T10 competition were finished and first one was completed among Quetta Qavalry and UAE Bulls squads. Second match of this competition was finished among Northern Warriors against Deccan Gladiators squads. Third clash was finished among Aspin Stallions squad against Vista Riders squad. In first match, UAE Bulls squad was begun match first with batting inning and batters were managed to collect 109 scores after playing 10 overs inning with lost of all batters wickets. Quetta Qavalry squad succeeded to achieve victory and defeated UAE Bulls squad by 9 wickets. Muhammad Waseem and Evin Lewis  both built strong batting partnership and both collected 48 and 50 scores respectively. Muhammad Amir player major role in victory and picked up 4 important wickets.

Wining the game with 21 runs definitely magnificent lead of AT. AjmanTitan always behave wisely and played with discipline. AT batted first and construct 109 runs in 10 over innings. Partnership of Aneurin Donald and Alex Hales was crucial and added  good scores in the total. While in chasing the target, DG situation was not good enough. Losing 2 wickets on just 14  scores, push all team in immense  pressure. Then they could not manage further good partnership and the results is that AT clinch the victory with the lead of 21 runs. This win highlighted the fact that AT is strong team and have the ability to build pressure on their opponents.

Yes, the only positive outcome from this match for Pakistan is that they experienced the defeat and now they won't take things for granted and also would not take the Sri Lankan side lightly as they are to face them again in the finals.

If we look at the history of all the big tournaments and series, we usually see that the team that hasn't lost a match before often loses on the big day, like the final or semi-final. You are absolutely right because Sri Lankan International cricket team performed well to win this match especially Dushmantha Chameera who took 4 wickets in this match and made match interesting because without these wickets, Pakistan team could win this match in the last overs but we saw good batting by Salman Ali Agha who made 63 runs in this match and played with strike rate of 143 and hit 3 sixes and 4 fours in this match. Salman Ali Agha did not play according to required run rate and that is the reason pak lose this match but Agha should try to close the match in the second last over but match went to last over and Sri Lanka won the easily.
