During the last few years, I do agree that quality of Pakistani pace bowling has gone down. And rather than blaming the individual players, let's look at the root causes. Pakistan's funds from the ICC increased by a lot for the 2024-27 cycle, when compared to the previous cycle. But where all this money went? Because I couldn't see any improvement in the performance of the team. I also could not find any improvements being made to domestic cricket in Pakistan. Cricket politics is very common in Pakistan and all players are available because they are using references. Many players are talented but they are not part of the team. We saw many players who are talented but they are not selected to play the International match and they played Hong Kong sixer tournament and many players play emerging players tournament and they should be selected for the T20 World Cup but they will not be selected. When Mishra bowled then other players should be played with responsibility but they did not succeed in making the highest runs for the opponent team. 114 run chase is easy for a week team.
