As reported earlier, a total of 6 teams each will participate in both men's and women's competitions. 5 top-ranked teams from each continent will qualify automatically, while other teams need to play the qualifier tournament. My issue is not with the number of teams participating, but with the way the participants are being selected. The ICC T20I ranking is a very biased system. Associate teams loss out, because the full members never play against them (a notable exception is the recent series between Nepal and West Indies, and also the one between Bangladesh and Netherlands). 6 teams participating in the 2028 Games is OK with me. But in that case every team needs to be given a fair chance to qualify. When the ICC decides that qualification will be based on the rankings, it is not a fair system for all the teams.

Pakistan U 19 impressed everyone with their performance during the Asia Cup U 19 because their performance was commendable.In the final of the Asia Cup India U 19 won the toss and allowed Pakistan U 19 to bat first.Pakistan U 19 took full advantage of this opportunity.
