Performance in test format should not be used to predict the same in limited overs format. Afghanistan got the test status only in 2019, and they have played only around a dozen or so tests till now. And India is widely regarded as one of the strongest teams in test format. On the other hand, Afghan players are in good demand in various franchise T20 leagues around the world, which shows their strength in this format. They should be able to perform much better during the upcoming ODI series. And the first match will be played at Dharamsala, where bowlers get a lot of support from the pitch.
