It's just like your fiat currency. The way you do in buying things using your fiat then same goes for bitcoin.

Much better if there's some bitcoin accepting merchant are available in your country so no hassle for converting btc's to your fiat currency.

Some computer components. Most online companies which accept bitcoin are related by technology products.

only some site accept it, they usually use bitpay as a intermediary, you simply do a checkout in a standard way, but you pay with bitcoin in a second without hassles

and without banks contorlling everyone of your movements..

Yes I have, I used it to buy some clothes and a watch.

The transaction was fast, I even received a printed receipt for the transaction along with the products. But be sure to check out the website/seller to make sure that you're not buying a fraud items.

And the shop that allows bitcoin as its payment is very limited so you have a limited selected of items to choose from.

I have, with a xapo card to purchase groceries for myself one time when I had no cash on myself. I just like how it is easier to manage and keep track of your money as transactions that happen would be displayed on the accompanying app on my android phone almost instantly.

Yes, Bitcoin debit cards and even Bitpay should just be a short-term solution until Bitcoin ecosystem doesn't grow enough so you can pay directly with your coins everywhere you want and need to.

I do agree that these are handy aids until this moment this doesn't happen, since this will take a while.

Merchants live on FIAT, unless FIAT goes away, which is very unlikely, i doubt we will ever be able to take FIAT out of the equation. Payments processor that will pay merchants in the currency they want will always be used, forever, until we get one global currency, which sound rather impossible because of sovereignty.

This isint specific to BTC, this is for all merchants.

You just select Bitcoin at Checkout and it will give you 15 minutes to send a quoted amount of BTC to a specific BTC address. The order will be valid the second it hit the network and then it work like normal after that.

There's tons of shop to buy pretty much anything and they all work the same.

There was a local food truck once accepting Bitcoin, to my surprise. I didn't have a mobile wallet at the time and my BTC was stored on a PC, but that's the closest I've ever been.

I didn't want to say that Fiat needs to dissappear. It can stay just right there but with the Bitcoin on its side. For me, the complete adoption will be reached when we will almost everywhere have an option to check out and pay by using Bitcoin and other traditional financial payment systems like credit cards and money wallets!
