I've never seen BTC anywhere in the real world in the UK, plus doesn't BTC have like 30 minutes + send time? That must have been an awkward wait Bitcoin sends in a few seconds. But some transactions got to wait hours or even days to get some confirmations. It always takes 3 days to move money between banks. Except when it's 4 days. If I transfer money from my Paypal account to my checking account, it's 3 or 4 days. If I want to put money into my Etrade account, it's 3 or 4 days. Every week when I deposit my paycheck - it's available the next day, but it's not settled yet. That's why your bank charges YOU money if someone gives you a bad check. They may let you spend it before 3 days, but you might have to put the money back in. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the 3 or 4 days are BUSINESS days. If you send on a Friday, it can take 5 to 6 days. On Saturday and Sunday, you can't send any money at all.

The receiver still see the money sent to him within seconds. You don't need to wait for confirmations. If you do need confirmations and it does not confirm within a few blocks, then you did not pay enough fee.

Its pretty obvious when someone send you a transaction with no fee and then a duplicate appear instantly. Blockchain explorers are supposed to check that too.

Looking forwarding to buying goods face to face with bitcoin one day.
I think this will happen soon, as we see the bitcoin grow up daily, the number of its supporters and fans grow up also, and that's will "force" many great marketplaces to use it as payment processor

I've never seen BTC anywhere in the real world in the UK, plus doesn't BTC have like 30 minutes + send time? That must have been an awkward wait Depends on how much fee is included on the payment. Usually it takes around 20-30 mins. or less if you put the normal fee which is 0.0001. That is one problem I find in transacting with bitcoins irl. Even getting a single confirmation takes several minutes. It is kinda slow for a fast-paced business imo.

It was my mum's birthday yesterday. And I wanted to buy a birthday cake for her, but when I reached the bread shop, I realized I forgot carrying my wallet and I had only a few bucks in my pocket. I tried to talk to the boss of the shop if I can pay by bitcoin, to my surprise, she said YES and finally I paid the cake by bitcoin. This is my first time to use BTC as real money buying a real physical goods. As a bitcoiner, using BTC online is very common. Have you ever used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? plz share your experience. wow! thats great,i really hope sometime will do as you do. even so hard its happen on my country.

I'm going to a pizza place on Tuesday that accepts Bitcoin! I've bought plenty of things online with BTC, but never over-the-counter. Once while I was passing through a bigger city, I stopped to find a Bitcoin ATM, but the place I found was out of business, and the other ones listed in the area were all closed because it was Sunday.
Never mind, the pizza place said the owner wasn't there so they couldn't accept Bitcoin.

I have purchased a few things on Overstock and bought that with BTC. A few movies/tv shows and it was all thanks to BTC. I would love to be able to go to the store and use my BTC, but not enough places around me actually accept that so I am sort of waiting on that.
