The max bet is dependent on the moneypot bankroll at the time of the bet.

If you click "Payout Editor" on their site, it shows the estimated max bets (~1.4 BTC on green, 0.13 on yellow, 0.003 on red). Actually though, these are very conservative estimates (they seem to be based on the simplified kelly, not the generalized kelly that MP uses) especially in the red case but bets of those size should go through no problems.


I'll try put together a blog post with some code on the full generalized kelly (multi-outcome, like plinko) as it's pretty hard to come across any good information about it and for things like the max-payout it gets pretty interesting

The payout is not "very small". It is good enough for most of the players at least. But you certainly can't win 100BTC there in a single bet. But a few Bitcoins is certainly convered by the bankroll.

You need a Moneypot account to play, and so you deposit to Moneypot. The funds are held by Moneypot, so you only have to trust them.
However, from Moneypot, a player is to transfer a part of the balance to the app to play, and the app (plinkopot, here) will have control over that funds as long as it remains there. But the risk is still very low.

In their own words:

Casinos will only get access to the funds you deposit into them.
Done with a casino? Then withdraw the money back into your wallet or simply disable the casino.

Reminder:
Any money you deposit into an app gives it full control over that balance.
When an app is enabled, you are allowing this app to access the money you deposit into it until you either disable the app or withdraw the app balance back into your Moneypot wallet.

Edit: Sorry since you meant only investors.
Moneypot has a global bankroll, so the investment is in Moneypot, and the Moneypot fully controls it. So you need to trust only Moneypot.

He can make a leaderboard that update itself every 30 minutes maybe this can be a good idea for the next wager tournament if you are going to make one. That is better than waiting for 24 hour just to see where you are right now.
