blockchain.info is the best online/hot wallet imo. It's noob friendly & fine for storing small amounts. Make sure you use a complex password & use 2 factor authentication. There are others but blockchain.info is the most popular for a reason. Just make sure your computer is clean. Store large amounts of bitcoin on Bitcoin Core or in cold storage but you know this anyway if you do your research.

https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet here you can choose from a lot of web wallets, however thats pretty strange that there is no blockchain wallet provided there, any information why?

blockchain.info for me, you have control on your private keys but it is better if you can use a desktop wallet

but bitcoin.org doesn't lists it as a recommended online wallet, I think they have some reason for it

blockchain.info is actually the best in my opinion , it was the first I started with when I was getting my bitcoins since Bitcoin Core was taking too much time to Sync and I didn't knew about the other wallets .
but blockchain.info have their problems now , maybe try something like Coinbase . it could do the job too

Personally I like Coinbase, I've been using them for a long time and I've never had any problems. I'm happy with their level of protection. They will normally let you know the minute there is a login attempt from a device they don't recognize (I think this is a standard feature these days though and blockchain probably does the same thing). They also have a feature called the Vault where you can store large amounts of Bitcoin offline for added security. On top of this they are insured. Also worth mentioning, (although I've heard people say otherwise) I've personally never been charged transaction fees when moving BTC out of my Coinbase account which I think is pretty cool  Smiley

EDIT - Any device that is being used for the first time to access your account needs to be authorized (using secondary email and 2FA) before it can used.

if you will actually use it only for hot wallet funds then i think blockchain or greenaddress really fits you, it doesnt require any skills and its really easy to use it

They service is often have a bug with some people who lost coins or suddenly the coins moved to another wallet, and recently their block explorer have a bug come from satoshi address. That's why bitcoin.org has been removed from their list. I've been skeptic too use bc.i

i use the blockchain.info wallet for nearly 6 months now, and i have to say it's much better than the other wallets i have tried. blockchain.info wallet gives me a good secure feeling which i didn't had with other wallets. but never keep all your coins online. just keep small amounts in it like you would with your physical wallet.

Yeah, with BC's issues as of late, I'd use something else. Its API is even a little wonky now, giving errors even when things were successfully sent.

As to OP, I personally prefer Coinbase (storage) or Xapo, and HaoBTC for growth (savings).

If you have to use an online wallet the best is the myTREZOR Web Wallet used with the Trezor device to hold your private keys and sign transactions.

Blockchain is ok and has many features but there has been a few problems on the past that concerned me enough that i changed my online wallet.

I now have 7 different wallet apps on my phone and find Wallet32 good for a HD wallet but it doesn't have a option to sign a BTC address so that sux.
I have also used greenaddress and that is ok, maybe a bit slow sometimes.,Coinbase and Coinjar are good too but because you dont hold the private keys to these wallets then i only use them to buy/sell and reload my Coinjar swipe card.

Any coins i have are alway kept offline on a paper wallet that i make with a Mycelium entropy, so easy to use.
Because of my cold storage i almost always use Mycelium wallet now as it has everything i need and pairs great with my cold storage and will also now pair with Trezor.
I would say the Mycelium is the best wallet, noob friendly and got everything you need.

Whatever wallet you go with never leave more thn you can afford to loose online because anyone can get hacked., and also use 2fa always!
Welcome to bitcoin, ask anything you need to know, there is a lot of helpful members here.  Smiley

Good question but there isn't one good answer, it really depends on you.

Here's a site to help you summarize the differences in features and in making a decision: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

Good luck to you.
