If all the leagues (almost all) restarted, especially the big four leagues, then there is no reason for UCL or EL to be cancelled. All games will be played out, with delay, or with different format. It's all about money as you said, and clubs ego themselves too.
The CL & EL will be completed, UEFA have already confirmed this. There is no chance of them cancelling them unless there is a massive second wave of the virus at a later date. There has been talk of the 1/4 final & the semi final being only one game instead of 2 legs.

From what we know so far, the first 2 games will be held on June 17th (Man City vs Arsenal and Aston Villa vs Sheffield). These are the ones that were postponed during regular season and after them all teams will have 29 games played. The new round will then start on June 19th and will last to 21st, so 3 days in total.

It is an interesting method to play that many games that much back to back, but hey at least its games and I think its better than nothing. Plus there wasn't really all that much game left neither, we were almost near the end, the second part of the season started and we were about a month or two in? I don't remember when it exactly started so I can't say but we all know only few games are left.
If everyone acts responsible and there are no problems, I think we will be fine, I don't think we are going to get any troubles from the players if they are careful and with only so few games left, I feel like we are not going to be seeing anyone getting any virus before the season officially ends. The real trouble will be next year. Players will not relax this summer at all, we will have next season right after, then the summer will come with all the national games and all and the next season once again. It is going to be tough.

Is Kane better now? When the leagues come back will he be able to play? I mean dude was injured seriously and was out for the "season" but right now the season is postponed very late, did he get any better? Even better, is there any player who normally wouldn't play in the league because of an injury but thanks to leagues being postponed so much that he came back? If thats the case for any player, they are very lucky but also the other teams are very unlucky and honestly there is not much anyone can do in that case, you can't just keep a player from playing just because "he would have been injured if leagues wasn't postponed" that would be silly. I can't wait to see the rosters teams will go out with.

Players injured before and after the outbreak of pandemic. Life is never totally fair for all. Anyway, with or without Kane, I don't think Spurs has good power to finish the season in top 4 and reserve a slot for next season of Champions League. Son Heung Min also come back but the probelms of Spurs are not only come from their strikers, but it is a systematic problem. Mourinho has not yet solved it and maybe he need one more season with the summer transfer to fix the team.

All Spurs players are fit now, so I think they could play well again like in the early days of Mou's arrival with Kane-Son-Alli combination. It's quite silly calling other teams unlucky since all clubs should be ready and are supposed to be play against full-team-rivals any time. There are two transfer windows in every season and they should know how to take advantage of it.

The Premier League has launched Project Restart and the competition is scheduled to resume on 17 June. Having previously conducted COVID-19 tests on staff and players, now in the last test conducted on June 1 and 2, as reported by the official Premier League website, they announced a positive case from 1197 tests. Of course, that is still a concern for everyone in the UK. reference: https://www.premierleague.com/news/1670563

Only 1 positive, and this is almost the same as last week when it was 0 tests and only a few in the Championship, which is why they allowed everyone to resume contact training. Also EPL clubs are free to start their friendly selections even before the schedule restarts. I think so far all signs are good.

In the most recent rounds of meeting between EPL clubs, the stake holders approved the implementation of the five substitution rule (increased from three) to be used in the league. The changes were approved by IFAB and leagues were free to make adjustments. Source - https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/12000299/premier-league-to-allow-five-substitutions-on-june-17-restartDue to this changes the number of players allowed on the bench has been raised from seven to nine. These changes should be in effect at least till the end of the season.

Or they are making preparations to continue. I'm sure everything will go smoothly in the Premier League as well. Frankly, I didn't think these leagues would start again. It is good to know that they will come back, especially in England, Spain and Italy, because the outbreak has far more severe consequences.

I was not very confident before the lockdown, as we really struggled when we did not have Kane or Son but with only 9 more games and if we can get them both fit, they alone can propel us to Top 4,,, so I still have belief. The systemic problem we need more than 1 season to fix. If we have no money next season especially!

Tbh, we have to admit that Mou is the right person to fix a team due to statistic record he has. Remember how he built Chelsea from nothing to one of the best club rn and gave the club the first Premier League title. He also succeeded to take Real Madrid qualified from round of 16 for the first time after failed in several years in a row. When he was in Inter, he gave them the treble winner for the first time in Serie A's team history. After no one couldn't be able to replace Fergie, he came and made Man United got 2nd position for the first time, even managed to win both UEL and EFL Cup. He is one of the best coaches in term of rebuilding a team. But usually he will lose his touch in next seasons. Hopefully he could give something for Tottenham before losing his midas touch.

Mourinho is usually only a world beater if he has big transfers funds. He did however do it a different way earlier on in his career at Porto. Maybe he can return to those ways at Spurs and win them some trophies.

Mourinho is a coach who used to take a maximum out of a team in a first season or 2.
He never built for the long term and he left most of the teams in worse condition when he left than they were when he got there.
He was a great coach, don't get me wrong - but he was never for longevity. His only focus was short-term success no matter the cost.

agree, i would add that i do not like his way of couching, could not say that he is not a great coach, but football that he exercise is not football that i like to watch, it is too boring, i remember him at Inter Milan, when they won CL in 2010, it was such a boring football with Milito ahead, just playing on contra attacks, after that other teams recognized that play style, and do not think that he will won much in the future

Jose's style is different and I can even call it unattractive, many football fans love pep Guardiola cause of how he builds his teams around the passing game, playing possession football, dominating the opponent and winning trophies, Mourinho wins trophies, even as many as pep, but he does so with a different style. I remember Mou at Madrid, he changed Madrid into something else, they no longer played like footballers, but warriors , especially in the El classico and they still lost most of the time. Spurs sacked poch and employed Mou because the white hart lane faithfuls need to start seeing their team win trophies, and imo there may be no man better for the job than Mou, but I fear his tactics are outdated and he may not be able to achieve the success they want him to.

Germany has been an inspiration for the EPL to resume. They have made the right decision and now we have a date for the first matches. Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United and Manchester City vs. Arsenal (June 17 without fans in attendance.)Without a doubt, the return of football to the field will make us happy again. We must get used to a new normal until we have a cure for the coronavirus. https://edition.cnn.com/2020/05/28/football/english-premier-league-return-spt-intl/index.html

I think you feel boring at that time because you aren't Inter fans. Personally, I have no problem with the way of Mourinho's football style. Each coach has their own way to win a match, even they must play contra-attacks. You aren't in his position, so you don't feel the pressure on how to be a coach at a big club. I'm sure you probably do the same way if you are Mourinho. To deal with a club playing ball-possession like Barca, contra-attacks is the right choice. I only have a little problem with the characteristic of Mourinho. He is typically a person with arrogant and too confident nature. Also, he is not really flexible to rotate the player composition. I remembered he was in Real Madrid, he almost set the same players in all matches. And always Benzema as the striker. It is a too rigid strategy for a modern football.

If you want to rebuild your house, you must need some money right? So does a football team.
Nowadays most of club investors aren't that patient to wait few seasons to get their first title for the team they invest. That's why there are many clubs that still want to hire him no matter the last record and reputation he had in his last team.
