Manchester Utd - Liverpool, can new MNU beat Liverpool in today's match will something new that Solskjaer brought is something that MNU need. They play much better and have better goals score marks as well as they improve defense. On other hand we have Klopp Liverpool, that want to see title again after long time.

Expect to see good match with at least on goal on each side.

I'm not so totally looking forward to this match, really.. I'm much more interested in the EFL Cup final match between Man City and Chelsea, I'm think we would see an entirely different game from what we witnessed about 2 weeks ago where Chelsea were humble by City with 6 goals to nil, I guess there will be a totally different approach to match from both Chelsea and Man City, However I still predict Man City to triumph.

That'll be a poor performance from both sides if they score only one goal each. At least 2 goals each then Shaqiri scores the winning goal. The pressure to win is more on Liverpool because if they lose this match I don't think MAN CITY will give them another chance to overthrown them. Pep already said the reason he encourage his players to score more goals is because they are willing to win the title with goal difference therefore Liverpool need more than 2 goals in today's match, these are the type of matches you win if you want to win the title.

If Pogba is eliminated than Man United is losing quality of play
Manchester don't have any other plan B until now

I think we share the same opinion on this.

I think I'll be going for under 2.5 or under 3.5, I'm not sure which I'd go for yet, But I'm definitely placing on an under option, I think the score line will be a maximum of 2 goals.

I'm also expecting this fixture to be quite a boredom, so I might skip it. but this could be a win or burst for Liverpool, their entire season is somewhat at stake here.

Yeah, it was bound to happen, especially after their pathetic performance at home yesterday, plus they were getting dangerously close to the relegation zone (just 8 pts above Southampton), they probably would've ended at the bottom of the league with Puel.

That would make you a bit strange I guess because I guarantee that the normal Sunday Manchester United - Liverpool game will get much more viewers than the City/Chelsea final.

So strange when you think about it. Cup final, and 2 big teams, both very recent Premier League champions, one is the holder.

And one normal game for a team fighting for 4th spot against a team who hasn't won the league in 20 years.

But that's the magic of United Liverpool that even neutrals like me want to know about!

Arsenal meanwhile are 2 nil up against a relegation threatened Southampton at the Emirates staidum.

Wow that derby SUCKED OMFG!!!  I've never seen Liverpool not hit a shot on target for that long in a game.  Jesus Christ both clubs sucked, lots of errors.

Chelsea are fighting really well against City at the moment, 73 minutes played & still 0-0. Where was this Chelsea against City in the PL match that was 6-0, like night & day the contrast between performances by Chelsea.

Hey it was boring there’s no doubt but I’ll say Liverpool got lucky to escape with a point, Manchester United would have won but their plans got disrupted because of the injuries. This draw is special in many ways as it’s been 5 years since Liverpool won at Old Trafford, Salah has once again failed to score against Manutd in the premier league. Also it’s pertinent to note now I don’t consider Liverpool as title contenders, like Ole says each and every October they believe it’s their season and it’s never their season.

It was a goalless match. Liverpool is consistently losing their points which is not good for them. They played well but could not capitalize the opportunities. I was expecting more from LFC.

The fight to stay in the top is becoming interesting now. I hope West Ham takes a point in their next match 🙂

Christ I don't know why or how either Liverpool or United got to play like that. Is it me or was the pitch a bit dry or hard? 3 self-injuries for subs in the first half, and Firminho as well twisting his ankle. Not only was there no saves (we did have 2 on target actually toke) but I think this was also one of the worst games on quality. No quick passing move, in fact a general lack of speed. Robbo was awful crossing... why weren't we playing Trent?

Anyway. The League Cup's also playing out 0-0. City look like closest but Chelsea refuse to die.

Edit: I hate players who undermine managers, no matter what. Poor Sarri.

What a disappointing end, Kepa might have cost sarri his job. City wins 4-3 in penalty. At the last minute of extra time sarri tried substituting kepa but he refused to leave the pitch. Every thing was going according to sarri's plan, his tactics and substitutions were on another level until the last minute dreamer, it looks like sarri doesn't have control over his locker room. Feeling sorry for Chelsea they gave the game their best. Congratulations to Manchester City for their victory.
