25+ minutes remaining before the final whistle. Frankly speaking I'm a bit shocked to watch how Liverpool plays today. Something unusual on how they are playing, especially they are playing against mediocre team like Newcastle while it should be not a big problem for Liverpool.
Is it the effect of their lost against Barcelona that makes their focus and mentality is a bit down on this match. Obviously it is a big pressure when they have to win to keep the chance to win the EPL title.

Less than 20 minutes left now. What is going on? Please Liverpool score! Do not lose everything in this season. We were/are too close in CL and we have a chance slim chance in EPL too but seems like we are losing everything.

Liverpool managed to scrape trough with Origi/own goal. Congrats for keeping the title dream alive. Didn't like the look of Salah injury, seems Liverpool could easily be without Salah for the rest of the season.

Now let's see how City will fare against Leicster. I am thinking Vardy scores at least one goal but City probably wins with result like 3:1.

Now its up to Man City to get the job done at home tomorrow which won't be an easy game as Leicester play good against Man City at home. Man City have a chance to get the treble this season while Liverpool can win their first ever EPL title which is crazy to hear that they are yet to win an EPL title but have won 18 first division titles. Amazing Liverpool tonight, I thought they would not win tonight as I thought their focus is in the Champions League only but I see they have not lost hope for the Premier League yet.

Indeed, Newcastle played very well today, and Liverpool had to be an heavy price for their win which was losing Salah to injury. Man City will have their last challenge for the title tomorrow against Leicester, If they can make sure the defeat Leicester then there nothing left to stop them from being defending the title as the champions of England.

Then again, Newcastle are very strong at home under Rafa Benitez and we all saw what Wolves can do to teams so on the way it looks, I think City will still win this league, even if they somehow draw 1 game.

And the match is finished between Newcastle vs Liverpool. Where Liverpool can secure their 3 points. For the time being Liverpool is ranked first in the premier league, that means we have to wait for the Manchester City vs Leicester match on Tuesday. If Leicester can draw or win, surely Liverpool must thank Leicester. So wait for the match that might be very stressful.

I'm not surprised with the odds there. Finally 1 week left for the last week of premier league.

2 matchs left for Man City and 1 match left for Liverpool, if Man City can win both the last 2 matches then it's done Man City will be the champion. There is still a chance for liverpool, but low chance.

I had a bad feeling we would lose yesterday after we got the first red card. But the killer was when we conceded in the last minutes,,, and the worse news is we will not have our best player in our last game, or even for the first two games of next season. We had to do everything to win so I will not blame any of the team members. The fighting spirit is there and it is not over yet until March 12 is over. Just hoping Chelsea and Arsenal also slip, but I think everything is going to be decided next Sunday.

Anyone interested in the games today? In any other circumstances, I would've gone with a parlay, Man utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, all to win, but the top 4 race has been such a joke lately...I think I'd rather enjoy how these teams will fuck up their chances to get closer to Spurs in the league table

I agree with what you say. Leicester is a club that cannot be underestimated and it is possible as you say that Leicester will be a nightmare for Manchester City. I hope Leicester can win against Manchester City to keep Liverpool in first place at the moment.

Man Utd just all by themselves blew their last shot of making the top 4, It is definitely Europa league for them, This might also fuel David De Gea and Paul Pogba exit speculations.
