Exciting discussion about the LFC v West Ham match 1 page full of it  .
Beyond expectations, West Ham was unbelievably just unlucky and LFC is still with a strong determination to maintain an unbeaten record at EPL.

Liverpool will not lose even though the match was fierce attacking each other still Liverpool always scored a goal at the end of the match that made them confident with his strong determination.
EPL is right in front of Liverpool. I don't want to lose to Atletico in CL again because I was really disappointed if I lost again later in the second leg.

Now it is already 3-2 for Liverpool, mate. Mane has just scored to make Liverpool leading 1 goal ahead. I doubt if the hammers can score again since they are under pressure. Look at the ball possession and total attempts. Liverpool is still much stronger than West Ham.  

This season, Liverpool have dominated the Premier League (which was dominated by Manchester City just one or two seasons ago) and they also dominated most of matches they have played in the league so far. Please tell me who can say Liverpool don't deserve the Premier League trophy?

The problem for Liverpool is their form is not too good in Champions League but I believe if they manage to beat B. Dortmund they will show up all their strength next rounds. They will make it because now they will fully concentrate on the Champions League.

When the score was 1-2 I was like 50% a draw, 30% West Ham will win, 20% Liverpool will win.
But after all Liverpool proved that it deserves the first place in EPL without discussion!

Liverpool had a lucky match, definitely, to win at the end but generally they deserved that win with support from their luck.

Not 100% lucky i mean Liverpool always find a way to make a goal, even a comeback and it happens so many times. Also these goals from Liverpool is not from VAR, so it's not that lucky. A nice win after the loss against Atl.Madrid on champions league. If Liverpool can win the next 4 matches, they can lift the trophy. It can be faster though, because their rival Manchester City will play against Man United and Chelsea, if Man City lose one of these match, Liverpool can lift the trophy early.

I wouldn't necessarily call it lucky or not but instead have to point to both goalkeepers for making it easy for their opponents to score such goals...

yesterday's game showed something very important: having high quality players to score goals makes a lot of difference in the decisive moments of a game and that was what happened yesterday, liverpool has high quality players in attack. West Ham did his best, but the west ham goalkeeper was a major disaster, maybe the west ham goalkeeper had a problem and because of that he was not well focused. curiously even when liverpool was losing, i still believe that they would win the game

Athletico Madrid pose a different challenge to Liverpool than the EPL teams, Athletico Madrids set up is suitable in countering what Liverpool poses attack wise, and they also have a near impeccable defense and the first leg showed that. Liverpool didn't have any shot on target and that should be the first time that has happened this season, the second leg is in the fortress Arnfield, you'll always fancy Liverpool against any team there, but maybe just Athletico.

Liverpool showed great spirit yesterday as they turned things around and won the game.I thought when they were in disadvantage probably they will at maximum equalize the game as I thought they were tired.I also think that they will win against Atletico and will qualify further in the Champions.

I really thought that the winning streak of Liverpool is going to end up yesterday.
West Ham played well and had chances to score. The reds were better and had a lot of dangerous attacks in the second half. The quality between the teams was so big that's why they won.

Yeah, they are always lucky. Winning 18 in a row is lucky indeed.

I think they're 'lucky' to score 2 goals with just 30% possession and 4 shots on target while Liverpool has 25 shots and 7 on target.

West Ham played pretty well so got to give them credit. It was fairly 50/50 in the first half in my opinion. Liverpool are just too quick though and they'll pounce on any chance you give them and they did that in the second half.

If there is any teams which can beat Liverpool this season, I think that will be a great achievement.

Looking for the rest of the games : Watford, Bournemouth, Cristal Palace, Aston Villa, Brighton, Newcastle ones are relatively easy games and Liverpool can win most of it with the help of substitutes imo.
However, Everton, Man City, Burnley, Arsenal and Chelsea ones can be hard and Liverpool will needs its main players in full performance to win.
Personally if i could secure the first place, i would concentrate on champions league instead and won't mind losing a game or two in EPL, unless they want a record lol

Yeah Liverpool are more vicious at home Anfield we prove later in the second leg by lagging 1 goal for Liverpool it is not a difficult thing because it could have been at home more than his retaliation goal.
I believe even Liverpool will be able to reach the final of the CL this season because seeing the good performance from week to week, yesterday's defeat was just a little mistake in my opinion.

Liverpool are too fierce for a team like West Ham this season because they havent  unbeaten by any team this season at the EPL. West Ham actually had the chance to defend their victory until the long whistle blew, but the instinct of scoring Liverpool players could not be blocked so 3-2 was a good result for Liverpool.

Liverpool might be destined to win the EPL title this season, but I am not sure they can also defend the UCL title this season and bring it back to England.

I think Liverpool's match against Atletico will be decided by a penalty shootout, We have seen the player method that Simeon relies on!!!And the luck factor remains the qualifier for the following roles.

I have no doubts about the quality of Liverpool players and their goal-scoring instincts, they are great at home and we also cant underestimate the strength and ability of Atletico Madrid when using defensive formation. Lets look forward to this match on March 12.

I also hope Liverpool continue to move forward to the next round but still they must be aware of Atletico Madrid because they are really different and hard to beat if they have played at CL Simeone always have a strong determination there.
Although Liverpool don't think about EPL anymore because it's already a champion (that's for sure) but for me this will be a tough match.
