impossible to mine amserdamcoin solo. does anyone know why?
The same question interests me!! What happened High difficulty and hash rates are the cause: I will try to mine some coins to make a masternode . I have 5 GPUs Rx580 for mining so how long may I get a masternode for this coin? If you point your rig at CryptoHub's AMS pool and mine for 60 minutes it will give you an estimate of how many coins you could get in 24 hours at the current pool hashrate/difficulty etc... I'm going to take a very rough guess that you would get 1600 or so coins, but you should really test it for yourself. The estimate is based on difficulity for last 24 hours. With his rig difficulity will grow a lot. Very true, that would more then double the hashrate on the pool and be a significant junk of the network hashrate too. Does anyone know when AMS stats will go live on masternodespro website?

Does anyone have a how to for compiling the qt file from the files off the website for the raspberry pi? You get 3 files:
amsterdamcoin-tx amsterdamcoin-cli amsterdamcoind
I usually compile from the git hub rep, but if I do that with AMS v.4.1 it just shows up as a pre-production version so wastes my time.
guess no help on this then? I am curious if you have successfully compiled qt on RaspPi 3 for other coins? Also which version of qt are you compiling against. 4 or 5? I've compiled quite a few wallets from the git hub code. Sometimes, you have to add extra commands to find some directories, but its pretty much straight forward command line stuff. Compiling the QT on a raspberry pi really requires the conf_swapsize increasing sudo nano /etc/dphys-swapfile Never bothered using the downloads from the coin websites as they never seem to work correctly or you get 3 files without any info on what to do with them. So someone hands me the daemon file, should I go create the amsterdamcoin-v4.1 folder and put it in? whats the build process? I could move the daemon to a directory (/usr/bin).. I still need to compile the qt... Anyone got any advice for me?

to support ams i just setup another masternode.
currently the stats are not very impressive but i believe in the long term value of this coin. i want to pay with ams in amsterdam and europe.
the website needs a link to the block explorer, also some blog/news/twitter/facebook etc links, support and community links, maybe setup a forum.

Hi Dev, This coin has a lot of potential. Masternode market is hot. All coins with MN are raising. The recent activity with this coin is due to possible future MN implementation. A lot of people invested in here and have faith in you. Community will help you if you just start to update this coin. What this coin needs is a nice functional wallet, slack, fresh website etc. we all waiting for you. More improvement to come.

We just released AmsterdamCoin Core v4 and already have masternodes. Also we just released our new website. Did you do some investigation or have you been away for a while?

Because there is currently no mining software for nvidia.

Put this line in your amsterdamcoin.conf masternodeaddr=yourexternalipaddress Replace yourexternalipaddress with the IP address you see here: https://checkip.dyndns.org

Does a masternode require a fixed IP address and/or port forwarding?
Yes it does Ok, I'll have to do some research on a VPS or one of the masternode hosting sites. Maybe the guys at NodeShare would be interested in adding it.... having such an easy setup option would only make the coin more appealing to the less technically inclined.
