For me, the new wallet has stopped working. Re-installed on another computer, it also does not synchronize. This is a failure.
Why is Kess doing nothing about this? He could say two words.
Yeah this is not good as there are a few people in the Discord saying the same thing with their wallets not loading or syncing. Like I mentioned in here there was an update for the Solaris wallet so lets hope that Kees is working on an update for the AMS wallet as clearly there is something wrong with it as there are many people complaining about it so it needs to be fixed asap.

I never had problems in v4 nor now in v5 following the official steps, I don't use windows 10 either.
What I want is some news, we are less than two days from the end of the swap and almost 5 months without a news in networks or web change, kees if you need help ask for it, I know you are fine for your visit to this page, but we want ams!
From what I can see Kees is very active with Solaris so I'm thinking he is currently working on Solaris and txbit exchange and then hopefully he can come and update us here and maybe even have an update for the current wallet as so many members of the community are having problems with it and it needs to be fixed so its fair for everyone who wants to stake.

I think I might found the bug for the hanging wallets. I will release a new version very soon. People who missed the swap because of this issue will have an additional week to swap. No worries.

Hello,
I bought AmsterdamCoins on 06.2018 and secured the wallet.
It was a coincidence today that I looked at the news. Now there was a SWAP and the time to transfer the coins to the new wallet was over.
What possibilities are there for people like me who bought coins and have just saved them on their wallets and sometimes no longer look?

Don't worry, the swap will open again for 2 weeks after the wallet update (as mentioned above) has been released. More news will follow later

Thank you for the update and I'm sure this will make a lot of people in the AMS community very happy as there have been many complaints about the new wallet for months now. I know you have been busy with Solaris and txbit which does take up most of your time but its good to know that you are still here for the AMS community.

wallet 5.01, stuck in block 77125 ( Upon resynchronization, it reaches block 77125 and stops
I tried: - Set wallet again and transfer wallet file oleg.wallet.json - Resynchronize the wallet by deleting all files except the wallet file from the directory: C:\Users\oleg\AppData\Roaming\AmsterdamCoinNode\amsterdamcoin\AmsterdamCoinMain - clean directory C:\Users\oleg\AppData\Local\Temp\.net - Replaced the peers.json file in the data directory, overwriting the existing one. - run on another computer or server - Restored a wallet from a list of secret words on a new computer
All this on a wallet under windows
What can be done ?

 The AmsterdamCoin wallet now has improved connectivity. We have enabled seed node discovery through DNS. This will improve the way how the wallet software finds connections. In case you are currently stuck, please try this procedure: 1) Backup your wallet 2) Remove all data from the data directory including the wallet3) Start the wallet software 4) Create a new wallet 5) Let it fully sync 6) Restore your wallet (preferably by using your 12-word seed phrase)

Thank you for all the help Kees, it has taken a while but you have come through for the AMS community and I knew you were busy with txbit and Solaris as I am in both projects.
Once everything is complete with the extended swap will there be any updates on the future plans for AMS as I see Solaris has something coming soon so it would be nice to have a use case for AMS as well.

You can run the new and the old wallet together at the same time if you like. So just start the new one
