Question...I love the idea but since everything is so decentralized and no creative control, how do you stop illegal content from being posted?
When I asked the devs this question, they said that hashes can be blacklisted. I believe this can be done by community consensus. So my understanding is that files and websites hosted on Shift are "uncensorable" in the respect that a malicious actor or government, etc. cannot target any centralized server or source as a potential failure point to remove or block content. If it can be done by community consensus what are the rules for the voting process as to which content might be blacklisted and which might be not? |

The mainnet launch of Phantom should happen by EOY. Nearest competitor is probably MAID. |

Source? This is fake news - think it was a pump group - but price is at a new level, which is better for us hodlers. Still very low compared to a realistic marketcap, with comparable projects with an ico but without product yet. |

It's interesting there's all this pump n dump talk. IMO whales trying to shake as many people as possible for one last big accumulation before we start running up for the next month. I think $10 before 2018. HODL or not I think we'll be seeing ATH for Shift

Will they try to compete with storage solutions already in place like STORJ and SIACOIN?
If I am reading their site correctly, do users lend out their hard drive on the SHIFT network so that people can host their websites on another person's hard drive?
Is it possible to offer bandwidth to people that want a significant amount for their website? I know bandwidth is very expensive and if we can decentralize that, that would be a game changer!
