After testnet release, the price will rise above $25
AFAIK testnet is already released and Phantom is also running on most nodes there, so I don't really get what you mean with that. But anyway SHIFT looks like a very promising (or even world-changing) project. When it's gonna explode it's just a matter of time and the quality of the final product. Especially the price will explode because of the low coin supply, only 11.465 million coin is currently available.So, with the demand the price will rise. I hope they will deliver and market the product in the next 3-5 months. (mainnet) |

True that, could be. Also Google needed a few years to get from "baby" phase to more addoption. Mass adoption came some 5-10 years after the initial idea. Apple a bit different story, could be compared if we discuss about iPhone and iPad launch. Just a bit smaller market though but in industry were companies and individuals will found the advantages out sonner. |

True that, could be. Also Google needed a few years to get from "baby" phase to more addoption. Mass adoption came some 5-10 years after the initial idea. Apple a bit different story, could be compared if we discuss about iPhone and iPad launch. Just a bit smaller market though but in industry were companies and individuals will found the advantages out sonner. IPFS is an open-source project developed since 2014 so 2019 is Mass adoption ;-) |

Shift testnet will show the great opportunities of the platform and before the main net will be released better to buy dips and hold some Shifts. This project looks more and more interesting for me. |

Shift will be worth a lot, but you need to have patience.If pure speculators money enters the market now, Shift price will then become very unstable.Right now most people who own Shift are hardcore holders!  |

Hey, I have a question about DPoS voting: Say I vote for 5 delegates. Then let's assume that, as time goes by, not every delegate is forging at any given time; i.e., one or more periodically fall(s) outside the top 101. What happens to my rewards (let's use the example of if only 2/5 of the delegates I voted for are currently in the top 101)?
Option 1: My total vote 'weight' is still the same, but is now divided between 2 delegates, not 5 (i.e., each of the 2 delegates receives 1/2, rather than 1/5, of my total vote). Thus, I receive the same total reward as 'normal'.
Option 2: My total vote is only 2/5 of 'normal' because the votes for the non-forging delegates don't count, so I receive only 2/5 of the 'normal' reward.

I'm sure within the next week the new Shift website will be revealed and hosted on the testnet Phantom! Also, right now it's a great time to enter into Shift while all focus is on Bitcoin and altcoins are bleeding. |
