I expected to see Real Madrid to win, but didn't expect this goal fest.
With the scores tied at half time, there was no clue about what was to happen in the second half. Real were practically unstoppable, scoring 3 goals to take the final tally to 4-1. Real showed their true class and retained the trophy.

I whole heartely agree.
I can see them taking the Super Cup next month too.

They are the best team in the world now.
No doubts about this now that Barcelona has not shown what mettle they are truly made of last season in La Liga.

We should not go into conclusions so quickly, Mourinho is a far better tactician than Zidane and i know he is going to upset Real Madrid and win the Super Cup for Manchester United.

Mourinho - yeah a great tactician, finishing 6th in the PL with the most expensive squad in world football. He's a dinosaur & past his best.

At least Mou give a title for MU unlike Klopp LOL.. Dont underestimate a team, coach, players just from their 1st year experience.  Look at the fact how long Fergie needs to wait before he could build the dream team.

Ferguson was a top class manager but football has changed. Owners want instant results, if Mourinho doesn't compete for the title this season I think they will sack him.

Of course, there will be a lot of pressure on him next season and now that united fans have started believing again I think they will expect nothing less than a cabinet full of trophies especially the EPL title which has eluded them for some seasons now.

I think, Jose Mourinho is ready to take any challenges in upcoming year, that coming season will be the vital year of his Manchester United career. So he must win any bid trophy, either European competition or domestic league...so it will be an acid test for him...

I agree with you, Jose Mourinho is a good coach, of course he will do something next season, but Man united should buy some strong players to the upcoming year. I have some faith for Manchester to make a nice football shows in this season.

this season manchester united performance is not bad, only follow europa league, manchester united can win eurpa league
in local competition, united can win community shield and league cup
next season manchester united can follow champion league althoug only rank 5 in end season 2016/2017 because win europa league
without buy good player manchester united can't compete in champion league or premiere league

Liverpool must really take the play-offs seriously, their full-time effort to get into the top four is something to be paid for at a reasonable price, and the champions league group is the right gift. Moreover manchester united has entered the group phase, do not want to lose from them is not it?

the rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester United always be interested to see and next season even Liverpool has pretty long to wait to playing again in champion league but they have to through play-off matches however i still not seen their upcoming opponent but i'm quite sure they will through play-off matches and went to group phase

Candidates for liverpool opponents in the play-offs are no big teams, but that's the problem. If we look back, premier league last season, liverpool always struggle against small teams, and superior against big teams. If the disease still exists in liverpool, it is not impossible they are humiliated in the play-offs.

They were not that's good but at least they delivered one European trophy and secured a champions league spot next season so it's in the right direction. I know Jose Mourinho has a lot to do with this team and with a couple of good signings I'm hopeful he can do the job and deliver even better  trophies next season.

Both teams using Red Bull but both teams represent different country though. 1 from Austria and 1 is from Germany, i think there's no problem here ? cmiiw. When is the schedule for Champions League qualification ? is it after domestic league for every country start ?

this season with 5 teams Competing in the Competition will make their chances better atleast one team should reach the semiefinals the only thing is going to be troubling their progress is that we could see them focusing more on the league mostly Liverpool and Tottenham as they want to get their first Premier league whike the other three looking for representation in higher stages beczuse City have brought Guardiola to get more recognised in Europe we can say the same thing for Chelsea and United both want to get back out there but same thing us going to be difficult in the League with 6 teams competing on top 4 some sacrifuces will be made.

Lol, what?  Didn't Leipzig already qualify for CL football by way of finishing second in the Bundesliga?  If you mean to go further than the group stages than yes, that's a maybe, but they do have a good team and lots of RB money back them.  I'd say they have a good chance to reach the KO stages, unless they draw the dreaded group of death of course.

spanish teams had dominate champion league with several season and indeed i do agree that english team has decrease achievement in this tournament even they have several good teams with good reputation but that doesn't good enough to make them get the trophy and hopefully next season there will be english teams will able at least went to the final match

a new face will coming on 2018 season , we got RB Leipzig , Red Bull Salzburg , TSG Hoffenheim etc ., im so excited with new CL season as a real madrid fan i always favor my team to be champions once again lol , it would be proud to make history about 3 consecutives champions

But the fact, Real Madrid is one of the teams that uses money to buy success IMO. Lets see what will happen next season, as a soccer lover I would like to see a new Champion on CL. Wishing to see all those Spanish teams failed on group stage earlier LOL. I'm sure people are so boring to see that only those teams who dominatinh CL, the world needs a new face and stop the domination of Spanish teams at CL.
