Easy game to predict tonight. Osasuna vs Valencia I think going for both teams to score and Valencia double chance win or draw. Osasuna is the weakest team of the La Liga and if you see their goal difference it's obvious that they can't win tonight. Valencia on the other side is not as it used to be a few years before but still I think they can take away the win tonight. Even ML for Valencia is a good choice at odd 1.95.

So, Real Madrid keep playing well AND winning, and when they DON'T play particularly well, they STILL WIN. If I had to bet on which team is going to win La Liga, it would be Real Madrid, even if i'm rooting for Barca.

And Real Madrid's prowess in the air with Ramos, Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, and Pepe really makes it easy for them to just cross the ball into the box and have a good chance of scoring from the air. It's like their go-to plan when they need a goal and when they're just bereft of ideas: just cross the ball into the box and someone will head the ball into the net. Ramos's two goals against Atletico in the CL finals and against Barca and Bayern come to mind.

What I've also noticed is that Real Madrid always seem to play with at least two forwards (Ronaldo and Benzema), with Bale (sometimes Lucas Vasques) occasionally dropping deeper (like Messi). In contrast, this season and the last one, Barca are sometimes playing with one forward as both Messi and Neymar are dropping deeper all the while there' no one filling that void, leaving Suarez as the lone forward.

I've seen too many occasions where Neymar moves the ball forward from deep, but when he's looking for someone to make that forward pass to, there's only Suarez available as Messi is somewhere behind Neymar and there's no one filling that void left by Neymar and Messi. Having one forward drop deeper while other players (Alves, Xavi, Rakitic) move forward to fill in the void left is effective as the success of Barca is a testament to that. But when you have two forwards dropping deeper all the while their teammates aren't filling the void left by them, then it just becomes ineffective, to the detriment of the team as we've seen this season. Barca could learn something from this Real Madrid.

Very poor result by Barcelona & you're right....if Real Madrid win their next game & go 8 points clear it'll make it very, very hard for Barca to catch them.

Barca needs to stop underestimating their opponent. They are a great team however when they play in away game that could mean different story for them and they are actually lucky that they managed to score a late game goal otherwise it would be suck to have their first game in 2017 ended with a lost

I don't know. I really don't think they did anything to wrong on that game. Villarreal has a very strong defence, and was very effective on the short opportunities they had. Barcelona depends to much on their key players, and if they can't make the difference, or are well neutralized by the defence, the teams falls to much. Nothing is lost though. They could end up being 7 points behind, but the Spanish League is very competitive, so I think they can recover that, since other teams will not give Real Madrid easy games.

I don't know. I really don't think they did anything to wrong on that game. Villarreal has a very strong defence, and was very effective on the short opportunities they had. Goals scored by Villarreal I think a big mistake for Barcelona, because the goal was created by a rapid counterattack. Too focused attack, Barcelona oblivious to their defense. Fortunately, at the last minute Barcelona could equalize the score in the last minute. You are also correct, the Villarreal defense is very good, the appearance of goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo also been very good I think. Barcelona are now in position 3 and the further away the difference in points with Real Madrid who top klasmen.

Today I'm going to make a risky bet on the game Atletico Madrid v Las Palmas, for the Spanish cup.
Atletico has a good lead, so I think they will manage the game. I will go for a under 2.5. I know it's risky because both teams are quite capable os scoring goals, and Las Palmas will have to risk it. On the other hand they will probably not go all crazy for the game, because if they suffer a goal, they are probably out. So I'm playing with time here.

But the reason I said that is that I am a fan on Barcelona and the fact that they lost to VillaReal completely ends their chances to overcome Real Madrid at the way to the championship.

Overratedmar 3 months without a goal , he just run around the box and doing nothing other than missing sliters and loosing the ball like 10 times per game. I`m so glad That Madrid didnt sign him. He is like Robinho`s little brother but 3 times more expensive.. And they dubbed this guy to better than Ronaldo and to became better than Messi.

I was laughing then  and i`m laughing even more now...Barcelona need a fresh start , with a fresh coach , fresh players and fresh style and system. They need new Guardiola , but this is 1/1000 to happen. And the biggest problem is their wage structure and the horrible transfer policy, they spend 160 mln on flops , absolutly wasted money.

This is the reason why new Messi deal and Iniesta deals are put on hold, Barcelona is very short on money. They can sell 4-5 players but will get almost nothing and cannot free enough space  for wages.. This team needs entire overhaul and balancing .The mess is too deep and i cant see a way out other than selling Neymar.

I think this is a good bet as in the last meet atletico madrid were able to make only 2 goal and in first half they were not able to score and it went draw, so under 2.5 goal is good bet and both team to score NO is also a good bet.
