La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17

I have watched Catalonia's derby this night between Barcelona and Espanol and I have really surprised by the new team.of narcs and the new way to play, i think it valvirdi way.
To do that I think narcs haven't bring coutinho in the needs to but they bought a coach  who can really change everything.

Espanyol for the last time won neighbours in 2009. Advantage of Catalan is total since.Barcelona while goes without losses, due to what able to unstuck from Real Madrid already on four points. Quite good result, if to take into account that only three turns are played.

Congratulations to Barcelona for starting the season on a high note, I hope they wouldn't be out of steam mid season because from the look of things they might peak early.

the football game is not an individual game but a game of eleven people. so I think a player who is not just a supporting player for one of those players won the game. all players in the team have their respective roles and it is called teamwork.

I think that Real are a fantastic team but they rely on one player probably more than any other team in world football. Without Ronaldo they aren't half as good, in big games at mey moments he is always the one to produce.

Over reliance on a single players tends to be bad for every time. Look at when the MSN was at it's prime though Messi was the superior player, one can say that the team wasn't over dependent on him, there were times that Messi didn't play exceptionally well but the likes of Neymar and Suarez played their parts wonderfully and it all goes well for everyone. But with a one man team when the star player is stopped, the whole team crumbles. With the BBC we all know that only Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing well for some time now.

I agree with you, football is a team game, and not team should be dependent on any player, and to be honest I don't think Real Madrid is dependent on Ronaldo, or that Barcelona is dependent on Messi, but they do have tremendous value, and play a very important role on their team, so of course that if any of those key players misses a game, the team will resent a little from it. Since these top teams are so competitive, and they need to be at their highest level to win titles, the slightest decrease in quality can be deadly and that's why they seem to be so dependent on these key players.

Real Madrid will probably still win most of their games without Ronaldo, because they are a great team, but they will draw or lose a few because he wasn't there, and that will have a big impact on their overall performance, and there is nothing they can do about it.

So I don't think they are dependent on him, but if you lose as much as an inch on the level they compete, it makes a big difference.

I quite agree, Messi is indeed ready for the new season but the problem is, are his fellow teammates ready as well, Lionel Messi can do his best but he can't be doing it all the times, We all know that without a doubt, Luis Suarez has been slow lately, my guess is that age has catch up to him. With Neymar absent and Suarez past his prime i only see Domestic League trophy for the Catalans but not Champions League.

I quite agree, Messi is indeed ready for the new season but the problem is, are his fellow teammates ready as well, Lionel Messi can do his best but he can't be doing it all the times, We all know that without a doubt, Luis Suarez has been slow lately, my guess is that age has catch up to him. He has been pass his best for some time now. it started last season and it seems that it's going to go on this season as well. Unless the likes of Dembele, Iniesta and Suarez pick up their own weight trouble is going to loom for Barcelona this season and they might end up trophyless.

What will bring down Barcelona this season in the CL is their lack of defensive options. They concentrated more on signing attacking options that they forgot they have a big hole in the defense that can be exploited by fast running teams. What happens if Pique gets suspended? They do not even have someone who can hold the defensive line with as much experience as him.

Eibar started of the season on the right foot after a win over Malaga with 1-0 away at home in the first round but lost the other two games against Athletico Bilbao and Sevilla while Leganes had a strong solid start but managed to lose in the last round and with Eibar  problems especially in their offensive side because scored a single goal in 3 games tge visitors maybe the favorite to win so i think we will have a tight game and under 2.5 goal with the last game between them with Eibar winning 2-0 .
