yes you are right, if you want to see an example, you can see Benzema, he won the Champions League title along with Real Madrid, but he was not the primary choice for france. so it's not a guarantee, that looks good only a few games

I guess you haven't known yet, but the reason why Benzema don't get called up to join France national team in Euro 2016 because the prime minister of France himself banned Benzema, in response to the scandal Real Madrid's striker did few moments ago. Surely Benzema always became the main choice by Deschamp in previous tournaments, but because of this scandal, there is nothing for Deschamp to do except didn't call the player.

which determines the playing field is a coach instead of a player, a coach knows what he needs in the field, and all players must follow the coaches instructions. Great players are not seeded for a coach on the field. but a suitable player to be featured by the coach.

next season will more interesting because Zidane as the manager will start the season from the first match of spanish league and as the europe champion i think next target Real madrid want the league trophy and also they want to break the Barcelona domination in spanish league
