The only player from Barca that played well was Umti*i. Everyone else was pathetic. And how many times have we seen Luis Enrique start with some weak starting line-up in a diffficult away game, only for him to have his "Oh sh*t, shouldn't have done that; Iniesta, start warming up" moment? I'm not going to miss him when he's gone - especially his bad judgement and decisions. Oh, and btw, it looks like Real Madrid now have a very good chance of winning La Liga. They could potentially have a 6 point lead if they win their game in hand, and, of course, if things stay the same.

These past 3-4 seasons Atletico have made sure to consistently take away points from Real Madrid. It's one of the reasons why Real Madrid couldn't win the league title in those past 3 seasons. And, of course, there's the 2013-14 season in which Atletico went undefeated against both Barca and Real Madrid in La Liga. Again, well done Atletico.

Neymar killed any hope of a fightback, I was sue Barca would be back in the game with the momentum all for Barca and the pressure building. Barca have really put in some strange performances this season, the Classico is now a must win.

Today I'm going for Sociedad v Sporting Gijon. I know Sociedad is not doing that well lately, but Gijon is also having trouble.
I will take my chances with Sociedad though, and will bet on them to win this game. Gijon really needs the points, so they will probably expose themselves a little.

looks like we will get to see Neymar missing the Classico after he received a red card in Saturday's loss at Malaga as he Applauded at the referee after the red card. the 4rth Referee noted that post-match report. by that he may get an additional game so he would miss the Classico so it may be a good news for Real Madrid and their race for the title as they have a very good chance this season to get it after five seasons

Sociedad v Sporting Gijon
Sociedad @ 1.52

As i think that this game may end up draw so can go for over 1.5 goal and first half over 0.5 goal , bet on live inplay for first half as the goal will be after 20th min late goal so odd will be good.

Real Sociedad have had a pretty solid season as they were sitting at the top 5 spots for the most part. However in their first unsuccessful streak of the season they dropped out of the spots that grant European tickets for next season. It is unnatural for a team of this caliber to stay without a win for so long, especially when they are up against one of the weakest teams in the league.

El Clasico matches do not think it will be the determinant of who will be the champion of La Liga this season, because Real Madrid still leaves one more match than Barcelona, making it a great opportunity to become this season's La Liga champions Real Madrid are more open to.

Every time Andre Gomes starts, there's a problem on the field, whether defensive-wise, lack of creativity, or retaining possession.  I don't konw if Barcelona has any sort of statistician to realize this because the consistency of this problem, is greater than RM's consistency in the La Liga. (Congrats RM for winning the LaLiga, truly deserved this year)

I don't understand why LE doesn't deploy 343 when it is inevitable that Malaga will park the bus at the back given their league position.  That really left Mascherano exploited as a RB.

Everything was too late, though Iniesta came on.  The reversal should have happened.  Iniesta to start, not Gomes.

Let alone Mathieu.  Outrageous since his arrival.  20M for 30+ year old is simply disgusting from the Barcelona board.  He reminds me of that flop called Chygrynskiy if any of you remembers.

I think the root of this problem is down to Barcelona not trusting their La Masia products, and time and time again the performances in away games against smaller clubs like this one are punishing them.

Really ironic that this club was once called the club with the best youngster production.  Far from it now.  I really miss those times when youngsters were actually used, even if we lose or not, at least the most important value of the club is retained: More Than A Club.

yeah Barcelona realy played a very bad games it's not the worst because there was PSG game but that was something else. there were many reasons of this defeat and mailnly one is Luis Enrique and his starting formation with 3-4-3 and not relaying on Jordi Alba as left back as he brings extra in offense also i belleive that Sergio Busquets would helped a lot better in front of the defense while the MSN realy dissapeared in this game propably for Juventus knowing how to play their game as we saw them play offensive in the beginning of the game that led to scoring two goals and then get back a little to defend and then they repeated the same thing in second half as they scored the second goal then got back to defend

Well let's wait and see what florentinos phone call will do for Ronaldo. I don't know what's wrong with Barcelona lately but they lack enthusiasm and hopefully they can beat Madrid in th final Classico to clinger the la liga 2017 trophy.

Messi and his friends may be more productive than Ronaldo for scoring affair this season, but Ronaldo and his friends were superior in terms of consistency in every match of La Liga, especially now that Real Madrid still keep the rest of one game more than his rival. although they suffered defeat in El Clasico time to come they can still get the trophy La Liga this season with terms other than El Clasico rest of the game must be won entirely.

Who is Lionel messi according Pele, Del piero and more???

Pele (Ex Brazil) – “I like Messi a lot, he’s a great player. Technically, we’re practically at the same level.”

Juan Pablo Varsky (Journalist, La Nación) – “I saw Maradona play extraordinary matches. I followed his career live, for me Messi is the best of Diego, every single day.”

Santiago Solari (Ex Real Madrid) – “What’s really incredible is his consistency. It’s practically inhuman to keep going like him. What Messi has achieved, far outweighs what Cristiano has done.”

Robert Snodgrass (Hull City – “We’re all going to look back in 15 to 20 years time and say we were lucky enough to watch Messi play.”

Del Piero (Ex-Juventus): “Messi is the real deal when it comes to Number 10s. He represents a type of football that transcends borders.”

Iker Casillas (Real Madrid): “Toughtest opponent I faced? Eto’o always paid us back and drove us to despair. And Messi scored every game.”

Yeah Barcelona is a team with a really high high and a really low low, I mean they play a game like a perfect football in everyone minds and just so beautiful to watch. Than they get games like Juventus and PSG. I think what they will do now is focus on league, since they are going to win it by the looks of it, they will work on making sure no one else is near them.

Agreed. Just shows what kind of a club atletico is. Where was that passion and fighting spirit against barcelona? Nowhere of course. Atletico only plays well in the CL or against Real Madrid. Sadly they don't have the motivation to aim for the top. No idea why. Seems like they're okay with being just a top 4 club like arsenal.

Barcelona is playing a very bad football right now and they can not even play it. Because I always look at matches and try to get inside without stopping.

When you find the void you normally need to hit, you have to hit the goal, because when they try to pass the team by rust they tire themselves and find the goal in their qualifications. I see lack of fitness, so if the team goes this way the championship will be difficult.

No, they're not okay being a runner-up or staying in just the top 4. I agree their passion have been decreased in recent season, when they won the laliga title in 13-14, they didn't short of any passion, they was fully motivation, but when they have to sucked two times as runner-up of Champions League in just 3 years, after that they have lost their faith. I think changing the manager is not a bad idea, they need to seriously consider this. Bringing a new fresh tactic and we'll see if they can go to the Top.
