thoughts on the winner?

In the upcoming Copa Del Rey (La Copa) final I am placing a bet on Barcelona to win the match, as they have a very strong team in comparison to Valencia’s team. Barcelona players will be motivated to win this cup, after missing out on champions league trophy due to their defeat against Liverpool. It’s pertinent to note that winner of this cup would automatically qualify for Europa League, and since Valencia has already qualified for it I feel they’ll not put in the efforts required to win this match.

You need to bet a lot of money on Barcelona if you want to make a decent profit in this bet because the odd for Barcelona I don't think will high.I would place little money on Valencia on this game as they will be more motivated than Barcelona to win the cup and it is a single match where anything can happen.

or you can bet on Barcelona Handicap 0:1 @2.44 if the primary odd of @1.60 is not enough, but I think that Barca will win this and take the second trophy this year

It is a big profit for me too but what I meant it was that it is not so easy to win for Barcelona as we all think.Both teams come from defeats in European Leagues and this game may well end 0-0 and be decided on extra time or after penalties.

I hope Barcelona wins though and you win your bets.

Though football is unpredictable sometimes, this should be another trophy in the cabinet for Barcelona.
Barcelona has lifted the trophy recently 4 times in a row making it a total of 30 times it has been champions of Copa Del Rey, Bibao is second having lifted it 23 times while Real Madrid is three with 19 titles.

Yesterday I gambled that Real Madrid is going to win but they dissappointed me.
They lost 0-2 without any struggle and I lost my bet. I hope that Real is going to be in a better form in the next season because in this one they were totally a disaster.

You probably knew the history of Real Madrid this season so there was no real argument to sustain your bet on them. They've been a disaster for the whole season and that's because they consider they are not anymore that Real team everyone talked about without their leader Cristiano Ronaldo. This team has to be rebuilt and hope they can do it this summer because it would be painful to see the same scenario happening next season

Real Madrid lost the figure of a striker like C. Ronaldo, we see that this season is very clear that Real Madrid is very different from the previous season, besides losing Ronaldo also losing Zidane but after the coach's return still Real Madrid is still very bad, I think it's time Real Madrid need players who are just like Ronaldo.

That Messi goal wasn't enough for Barcelona. Valencia won the Copa del Rey-title 2-1 against FC Barcelona.
Most of the Barcelona team look like they were ready for a summer vacation, but Messi seems to be ready for Copa America.

So, Barcelona lost...Valverde should be sacked, right? I mean, regardless of what Messi or Pique said yesterday (they backed Valverde), no manager can hope to keep his job after a historic and embarrassing defeat in the Champions League and then losing the league cup final in such a pathetic way, outclassed in every aspect of the game tonight, Barca's 2nd half was more hard work and effort by the players than tactics and gameplan from the coach.

Btw, why does Valverde keep playing Barcelona's worst player this season (Coutinho)?

When I saw that Roberto is playing as forward, I started to worry that something will go wrong. First half was something awful. In second half Barca started to play something what they supposed to do, but it was too late - you have to play your best footbal from the first minute in the final. And on the last minutes Barca players looked extremely tired and weren't able to create something dangerous. Well, we were close from winning treble, but at the end we only got trouble...
@tomahawk9, I'm afraid that Valverde won't be sacked, even after this failure, but I hope that I'm wrong with my prediction.

And Valencia, top 4 in the league and league cup champions...One of the big teams in Spain is recovering its glory.

Yeah, it's been a great season for Valencia and now they can celebrate centenary season of this club.

I don't care what Messi or Whatever any other player said, Valverde should get sacked literally! He's the worse coach Barcelona has hired in a long time,  Martino waa probably even a better coach. It's funny how Barcelona season which was supposed to be a huge success all turned out to be a failure within a few weeks. Winning the league is definitely not an achievement as a far Barcelona is concerned, they've dominated it for about a decade now. Copa Del Rey has been another trophy Barcelona had won consecutively for the last four seasons.

Valverde is not tactical by any means he keeps making a one sided substitution, he sucks at player management or player rotation.

Looks like I'm not the only one who couldn't even bring myself to look on the bright side with Barca. You know, we were stronger a few seasons ago when we LOOKED weaker. And then when we lost our Super Front 3 I thought that was really it too, Messi and Suarez growing older and Real would smack us, but we somehow survived and did so well.

But this is really it. This really, really is it. How do we bottle it so badly can only be explained by a manager with bad tactics and players who need to go. I have no words most days now. This is a bad season, we can thank god our rivals in La Liga played so badly.

That's definitely not an excuse their exit from the UCL is more than weeks ago before this game right ? That should have been the more reason why they should have won it instead.

They got eliminated by As Roma last season just 11 days before the Copa Del Rey final and still were able to win the game by 5 goals.

Too me, it's more like they players want Valverde to get sacked

Barcelona can't afford to be mentally depressed. The players are getting paid multiple tens of millions. In fact Barcelona is the most expensive football club right now.

Any team can lose a game. They need to get their shit together and focus on the future games. Otherwise things will only get worse and not just for the team but for the players as well. Nobody would want to pay $50-100m for a player who'll get depressed after a lost game.

I thought barcelona would of atleast tired to win in this match and the only one who put any effort into it was messi with a goal at the 78 minute mark but it was too late at this point and could not put any pressure on the other team to win.
Sad time for barcelona and a long summer to think about what to do about the coaching staff.

Despite that Barca president supported Valverde after loss in final of Copa, it looks that he will be sacked. Roberto Martinez, manager of Belgium, most likely will replace him. For me it looks like a great choice.
And there is big match fixing scandal in La Liga and Segunda division. Several players and president of Huesca has been arrested, you can read more about it here:

If you look at matches in Segunda, probably you will notice some strange things there. But there's some games from top division is also under investigation, for example Valladolid - Valencia.

I guess the champions league effect really helped Real Madrid during that period to make more profits among other things.
