Even now AC Milan is in the top position with two points ahead of Inter. But we also can't underestimate Inter, because Inter in the last 5 matches have
shown a declining performance.

Now, the point gap is 5 since AC Milan won again. AC Milan knows if they must get 3 points to widen the point gap with Inter Milan, so they struggle all out to get points in their home today. This winning indicates AC Milan has a good motivation in competing for the title, they won't miss any points on each match. Now, it depends on the result of Inter Milan in the next few matches. If they can win every match, the competition for the title will be very tight. Juventus performance today was impressive. They won against Sampdoria with 1-3 score. Although, Sampdoria is probably a weak team, but Juventus played awesomely.  While Morata was the man of the match. He scored two goals. He have so far scored 8 goals this season in the Serie A. And he had been really helpful to the club.
However, with the present form of Juventus, I think they are likely to end this season in either the 2nd or 3rd position on the standings. I hope to see them win against Villarreal in their upcoming match in the Champion League.

Juventus were definitely impressive today. They didn't have a tough opponent maybe but their performance was the most important point in the end. And it was delightful also. I liked especially Morata's performance by 2 goals. He is not much of a solid striker normally and he doesn't score too often at the same time. But he was the star of this match undoubtedly. If Morata manages to become a consistent player, he can play much better actually. But I don't think that he will be a player like that anymore.

Beside Juventus keep good perform and success defeated Sampdoria 1-3 I think not good chance after AC Milan as lead standing of Serie A success get three points from Empoli, little bad result because chance as Juventus keep on tittle Serie A race looks almost close although have possibility because behind 7 points. I watched Juventus have good perform last night with scored 3 goal although have 1 own goal from Sampdoria defender Maya Yoshida, but top perform show by Alvaro Morata and this three points achievement looks Juventus as safety on 4th position standing left 9 points from Atlanta as 5th standing place.

It was nice not to come across any surprise in both of the Sampdoria - Juventus and Milan - Empoli games today. The only surprising thing to me was that Milan couldn't manage to score more than one goal against Empoli. I assume that it was Empoli's luck there. But Milan must be still very happy about the result as they guaranteed their lead on this week too. Milan must continue to win as much as possible to be the most advantageous team for the Serie A title this season. Milan can really make it to the title after a very long break like ten seasons.

AC Milan needs full points, they can do it. AC Milan has lost just four games this season. They’re not scoring too many goals or winning by too many goals, but their performance is good. The winning was precious and the match was beautiful. Morata had a fantastic performance, and hopefully Zakaria and Dybala will be back next game! Milan need good improvement in the front. In some of the matches that we will rate like easy for Milan, they will end up almost having problems with them.
The most interesting match is the Inter Milan vs Juventus.  This match is not going to be easy with Inter especially now that Juventus is in good form and been getting good results. They need the win to finally solidify their position in the table top 4. One thing that may affect Juventus performance is the champions league fixtures.

There was a phase where the game could have ended differently. Fortunately, the penalty for Sampdoria was missed in the 74th minute. Currently, Juventus has not lost for 14 games in the league and has 4 wins in a row. Dusan Vlahovic was substituted late this time, there was not much time for him and a goal. And now it is only 7 points to AC Milan and 1st place, not so much. But Inter Milan and Napoli are also still there.

I am not surprised by Empoli at all. If you look at their results against the best teams in Serie A this season you will see plenty of decent performances.

- They lost to Juventus 2:3, but scored two goals. During the first part of the season, they defeated Juve at their home venue 0:1.
- In the Coppa Italia, they drew with Inter in Milan 2:2, and only lost after extra time.
- They played 3:3 vs Lazio in Rome.
- They bead Napoli 0:1 in Naples. 

The player who has really taken advantage of all the injuries at Juventus is Arthur. He has become decent in the defensive midfielder position and hopfully he can improve even further. I like to see Locatelli further up the field and have Arthur take on the defensive duties in the midfield because he is very confident and reliable with the ball in his feet.
