I think that Juventus have lost their chance for the title now even if there was a slight one before. They drew with Bologna in their home game and now the point difference with the leader in the standings is eight.

Agree. There is no chance for Juventus to win the title. The point gap is too big (eight) and the remaining matches are only 5 matches. It is almost impossible to reach 1st place in the Serie A standings. Only AC Milan and Inter Milan look like still competing for the title. The two teams only have 1 point gap, which means they will compete to collect full points from the remaining matches and the winner will be determined until the final match. It is interesting to see 2 big teams in Serie A to compete very tight for the title this season.

Inter will play against Roma next week. It will really be a nice and difficult match for Inter. Also Milan's match schedule is easier. I want Inter to be champions but Milan have more advantage. For this season Juventus have flown the white flag to be able to win the Scudetto, the most realistic thing for them to target is securing a Champions League ticket, but if in the remaining matches they throw away points again then the threat from AS Roma and more real, if this week Roma are able to overcome Napoli, then the distance of points to 3, Juventus must be aware of this fact.

I don't know why in Serie A this season when they (the teams in the top 4) have gotten a good chance it's always a waste in the end.
This is certainly a disadvantage for them because at first their chances of overtaking were great but with a few matches without consistency there made them drift away again.
Maybe their target of the top 4 is enough so there's no need to win again lol

since the beginning .. their scudetto chance are very tiny though.

so yeah it's not a surprise , what make me surprised the most are when seeing the whole squad at juventus seems has no winning mentality ... with 2 men down at the opponent side , juventus can,t really take that advantage in the last of 10 minutes of the game. although yeah they did equalized it but still it's not enough for a team like juventus.

Inter and Milan had a good day yesterday by winning their matches. Milan are still in the lead by two points ahead of Inter now. I wonder what Napoli will do against Roma two days later. They need to win also not to get away from the first two positions. But Roma are a really difficult opponent to defeat. They are doing really well recently and they might get a point here too.

Good performance for AC Milan as well as Inter, they both picked up wins to keep their position in the table. It seems that AC Milan is starting to find a way to win, after the previous match they always got a draw and made them increase the chances for Inter Milan to be able to catch them. Nothing has changed in the 1st and 2nd positions in the standings at least until this week.

Inter and Milan are still competing closely in the race for the Scudetto, even though Inter are superior, but they must be able to maximize the remaining matches of this season, the point gap between the two teams in this city is very thin, if one of these teams achieves a minor result then the position in the standings immediately changes.

Happened at least 2 times this season this is one of the reasons why I don't actively bet for matches in Serie A

It was a really interesting week for Juventus surely. I was hoping them to win their game easily against Bologna but it ended in a 1-1 draw. I don't know why Juventus had a really big problem like this. They are still not comfortable now and I wonder what they will do in the rest of the season.

Juventus were lucky to get one point from Bologna which was playing with 9 players by the way, thanks to a goal scored at the extra time... Incredible how they are missing points in these crucial moments. They are relatively safe for now in the 4th spot thanks to the 6 points advantage they collected and the fact that Roma aren't consistent too and will play vs Napoli tomorrow.

This is not in any way peculiar to just the Italian Seria A, this is football and such things happen, that is why football is a very dramatic sport to be honest, take a look at the EPL as well, the same thing is also happening there this season with the teams competing for fourth position. I am very much satisfied with the level of competition in the Italian league this season, it has been great to watch.

Inter will play against Roma next week.

This game is really going to be a test of character for both teams, one team (Inter) needs to win to keep their title hopes firmly in their hands, the other team (Roma) have to continue winning if they are to keep their hopes alive of breaking into fourth position, it is really going to be tough, but i think Inter would just edge them.

I agree with you that they were lucky to have come by that one goal but, can we really accord that chance to have come off the 2 red cards that were given? Looking at the fact that, the cards came with just 6minutes of normal time on the clock. Anyway, why do players even do that,,, argue when the whistle has gone as though, the referee was to call back his decision and in this case, he went as far as touching the referee. Which ever it is, Juventus did manage to get back into the game with an over head kick from Alvaro Morata to create an assist for Dusan Vlahovic perfect header into the goal. Dusan Vlahovic might have made the net but all I recall is Alvaro and his over head kick.

Juventus missing full points on crucial match and now looks have been close for Juventus to be tittle race with AC Milan, Inter and Napoli. Got one points and looks lucky after Bologna have played with 9 players I think make 4th standing position for Juventus still not safety right now remaining 6 points from AS Roma but still left match on this weeks against with Napoli. I think if AS Roma could get 3 points if can defeat Napoli less 3 points only between Juventus and As Roma with 5 match left. Do you think Juventus is not safe in 4th place I mean for champions league tickets? Juventus is in fun mode or taking advantage of ''something''
As Juventus are pretty sure they can secure 4th place although only 6 points adrift Roma will find it difficult to catch up, especially the next Roma opponent is Napoli
We know Napoli are still fighting in the race even though it's a small possibility there's still a chance.
