I was not at all surprised to see the result of the match between Atalanta vs Salernitana. Salernitana was the last team in the points table. But their performance in the last 4 matches has surprised everyone. They have won 3 matches in a row and they have been able to defeat a strong team like Fiorentina. So it is only natural that they should try to maintain this continuity against Atalanta. Also Atalanta is not in very good form now. Salernitana made a total of 11 shots, 9 of which were on target. From this one can easily guess how well they are performing now.

I honestly believed that Roma would win, I mean Atalanta looked to be better team against such a low and even relegated team, so that must have been a win for sure and they ended up getting a draw with a horrible team in a great position for themselves and missed out.

But for some reason, I believed Roma to have even a better chance, no idea why but I believed they were in a great form to win. After failing to get a win for 2 games, this supposed to be a game where they dominate, at least in my mind. This is why I am shocked to see them failing to get a win. This makes that 5-6-7 and even 8th spot so much entertaining for the rest of the season.

it's been locked since last week because the difference with 4th place is now 10 points and the remaining games are 3 now for each team.
But there is still a chance to be in another prestigious league, the Europa League and of course they still have a chance for that now. with a record they play very well and keep winning

Milan, Inter, Napoli and Juventus have been free from distractions to fight for the top 4 now regardless of the results received in the remaining matches, the top 4 positions will not be replaced now.

For the 5-8 position it is still not safe and this still applies to all, when they fail to play well then it is certain that they are the ones who are thrown.

Yes AC Milan are in the best position on paper, their fate is in their own hands. If they can maximize it, they will easily win the Scudetto this season. However, Inter Milan are now in a bad situation, dropping such an important point. The odds turned against them but the problem is that we don't know what will happen to this team, as they also get unpredictable results sometimes when they are favourites.

AC Millan success pass hard match with 3 points against Fiorentina and I think looks have close step with scudetto trophy in this season, but not be glad early for Milan fans because on 3 match left still waiting by Verona, Atalanta and Sassuolo. Last two team I don't think easy for AC Milan success get full points, but winning on two match again will guarantee Milan get trophy in this season after more than last ten years without get Serie A trophy. Keep focusing on next match with Verona and Atalanta because 6 points added will give trophy for Milan in this season.

Atalanta are really a hopeless case now I'm afraid. They couldn't defeat Salernitana too and they won only once in their last five league matches. And this is killing them week by week. I mean that they are under the threat of not being able to qualify for any tournament in Europe like even the Conference League. The three weeks remaining are going to be really fierce between Fiorentina and Atalanta as it seems. And the winner of this rivalry would be Fiorentina I guess. It is just a sense otherwise they both are terrible these days.  

Atalanta generally fails the end of the championship and if in the middle of the season the team could claim the highest places, then indeed now the club can generally remain without participation in European competitions. However, it may even play a positive role when the team does not need to be distracted by other tournaments and focus only on internal competitions. Salernitana, with its winning streak of three matches won, has already shown that you need to treat yourself with full seriousness and now Atalanta has experienced it for herself. However, isn't it too late for Salernitana to wake up and will these efforts be enough to still stay in Serie A for the next season?

The unlucky match was shown again by Atalanta in this match.
They are still struggling against Salernitana even they have to wait until the 88th minute to equalize them.
This is clearly not good enough in my opinion because they should have won full points in this match so they can compete at least to fight for the top 6 position there

Roma have lost a lot of points in recent weeks. If Atalanta had won their last game, they could be in 6th place right now, but Atalanta, like Roma, did not score in the last 2 weeks. In fact, they missed a great opportunity.
They still have a chance to be 6th, but they need to be able to win a match as soon as possible. They cannot finish this league in 6th place by gaining 1 point with the goal they scored in the last minutes

Roma haven't been very good in the last few games but it's a shame Atalanta didn't play well too which cost them a lot of points here.
Their last 5 matches only got 5 points which kept them from developing in position.

They have 3 games to play in the remaining games at the moment but there is Milan there.

AS Roma have improved, they can look back at the end of the season and count on the good things they've done. Although, I'm gutted they lose out on the race for top four. I think AS Roma can gun for the Europa League title, if they can win that, they will automatically be in the champion's league next season.

Atalanta have achieved good things last three seasons and they have to rebuild their team to get their position in top four back. However, it will be not easy because AS Roma are coming back with Mourinho. Lazio and Fiorentina or Sassuolo might fight with Atalanta too.

I don't consider this failure in this season is the end for Atalanta. Their quality is not too different than Juventus, Napoli, AS Roma but if they can not prevent player out wave in summer, they will fall into a bad period. That will take them a few years to come back.

Milan's 3 remaining fixtures are tougher than those of Inter. And Inter has a more quality squad in my opinion. If they manage to win against Empoli in their next fixture, I think they will turn it around because I see Milan dropping some points. Empoli is a bastard of a team and they have made life difficult for Juventus and Napoli. They play best against the strongest opponents.

I am looking forward to the Derby d'Italia cup final between Juve and Inter in about one week.

Everybody talk of how the premier League is tough and competitive, how the tire race between Liverpool and Manchester City will go on the wire,but they don't say anything about the Seria A title race this season, three teams have be fight from day one till now, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Napoli are the title contenders,if everything continue being like this with no lose then I think AC Milan will definitely win the championship and I believe they can, my fear was that they can win Fiorentina Which they did.
