I think it is not easy for players to play that many games back to back and then get back to training quickly. During the season there are situations where you play a league game then europa then league then cup then league then Europe and then league, so during just one month they may play up to 8-9 games, and that is a bit too much already and they do not want to strain themselves too much and get ready for those days in the future.

I personally believe that the best thing to do would be just resting and relaxing right now and hoping that it would do a lot better results thanks to having rested during this period instead of overworking the players.

Drama about renovation for San Siro/Giuseppe Meazza isn't over. Milan & Inter doesn't get permissiom for renovations. But, Milan already have a plan to build their own stadium few years ago when Milan under Berlusconi era. I have read from Sempremilan.com, Milan wants to make this come true. Of course this is a good news for me, because if Milan have their own stadium, they can get 100% of income. This is really good advantage for Milan for long terms. If Milan get permission to build new stadium, they said if the will build without Inter. hopefully for now not just a statement. 

It is certainly feasible for a club as big as Milan to have its own Stadium. But indeed until now there has been no major development when it will be realized. With the current financial conditions of building your own stadium without any major sponsors it will be very difficult. But hopefully management has a lot of sense for that. If you look at one of the stadium constructions in Qatar they spent almost USD847 million. Management has to think hard, want to buy players or create a stadium.

This friendly match is indeed not a reference for who is the best to come out victorious, but consider this as an exercise to maintain stamina as well as improve player performance to remain in good condition to face the next match where the Italian league will soon start, hopefully the problems experienced by Juventus officials will soon done and I will be more than happy to wait for juventus vs napoli match in january

but how should Juventus do it? They've tried everything in recent seasons. Even with the arrival of Ronaldo they could not break any pots and it has actually only gone less since then. They lack a real striker in the front, someone AC Milan does have in the form of Giroud. That would make a big difference if you had such a striker at your disposal. This rest period is indeed a lot of complaints for many European clubs. before the league started again finally some clubs also started warming up with friendly matches. this is an attempt to keep the team's stamina and performance from decreasing.
Napoli's current position is still safe. but I still want to see how the competition for several other clubs such as AC Milan is rumored to also be spending quite a lot of players in the winter transfer market.
