As a soccer fanatic, I agree with your erudite comment. Seeing AS Roma struggle even against weaker opponents is frustrating. Jose Mourinho may still struggle to get the most out of his team. Yet, AS Roma needed a win to stay in the top four. Despite their strong second half, Verona may have won the game if they had started stronger. Overall, both sides showed great grit and committed many infractions. We hope AS Roma improves and gives us more thrilling games!

And they haven't had any wins this season. I think we can say that they are almost certain to be relegated from the league. Torino are close to winning this match, in my opinion. Only one goal was scored in this match but it was enough for Roma to take 3 points now.
At the moment with the win they have managed to push up to 3rd place now and of course this is very good for them. Even though the conditions are still not safe, at least in this case they can be in the Champions League zone, which is very good for them.

It was a tougher game than I expected for Roma. But they still managed to secure the 1-0 win over Verona home. I can't say they didn't let Verona come much because they did. But Verona were really bad at finding the target so there wasn't a serious problem anyway. After the draw against Lecce they really needed this not to lose their position to Milan. They have the same points though.

There will be a really tough challenge for finishing the season in top four surely. Mourinho had better choose his strategies wisely in the remaining games to be in profit. This is a big chance for Roma to do this.

All I can say about this game is that Verona are playing terribly this season. They don't belong in Serie A with a game like that. Roma haven't shown good football either, although they have continued their good home game stats. Roma have a good defence, although it's hard to say that after the match against Verona, who were shooting the ball anywhere but on target. Or made poor passes the whole game. I don't think Roma could have won if they were playing someone else, stronger than Verona.

Roma managed to secure full points at home, even though they had difficulty keeping up with Verona's game which continued to press in the early minutes, Roger Ibanez performed well in keeping the defense even though Verona tried to keep pressing, unfortunately the final finish was not so optimal so no goals were created for Verona, while Roma also had many chances in front of Verona's goal, but Rui Patricio performed very well under the crossbar, so that only one goal was successfully created by Ola Solbakken.

Roma already had a decent enough season with Mourinho last year, they didn't do that well in the league maybe but they did well enough in Conference league and won it, on the other hand we are talking about them being much better in the league this year as well, even though they were missing some very important players.

I think it's clear to me that Abraham is going to make them get to that UCL levels, top 4 is not unlikely at this point and could happen. It's going to be not so easy to handle, but not impossible neither. One thing they need to do more is passing, right now they are relying too much on talent, a team passing style could help time to time.

I don't think if in Napoli they have enough money to hold all the players they currently have while other teams in Europe can send players good offers and make them leave Napoli soon, but still, the players are under contract by Napoli and they won't leave this team mostly because they can achieve goals with this team and take titles like Champions cup and the first place with this team on Serie A, however for keeping these players Napoli should start fining a way like finding a resource of income or taking better sponsors.
