Hi Joe, you know my opinion about transfers with no option to buy??? Unless is an established player who can slot in first 11 immediately I don't see a reason to get someone on 6 months loan who is yet to fight to spot. For instance, Mark Van Bommel was that player in 2011 who gave us hand for the Scudetto that season. Delafueu coud be great prospect but I can't see him making difference immediately. We want him to cover for injuries and suspensions and then back to England in June

Great results for AS Roma, now they are steady in the runner up position. Strikers Edin Dzeko always saved the team, so deserved man of the match in the match last night.

My fellow MIlanesta, I am looking forward to the game, because i know one thing and that is if we preform we win, we need to battle from the off and not slumber as we did in the first half against Toro, we must take the battle to Napoli and put there midfield under pressure from the beginning. albeit this will not easy with Hamsik controlling there play but we can match them and Jack and Suso can provide the creativity need to find Bacca.

Kucka and Pasalic must control the midfield and the full backs and Suso and Jack must provide options for the short ball from the midfield thus allowing Paselic and Kucka to regroup quickly each time.

I see Napoli have a great goal scoring record this year and the goals are shared between the team but if we put pressure on them at the San Siro will we roll them over!!!

On a final note it is good to see Crutone promoted to the first team now Adriano has left

Sad to lose an important game but again, I love the spirit of the team... I was worried about Gomez replacing Romagnoli in such a crucial game, moreso when Gomez hasn't seen all that much playing time. He seemed very nervous but again, rather than pointing the finger at him, he has my support 100%.

Maybe Montella should give him a bit more playing time vs weaker sides (Crotone, Pescara, Palermo). Also Abate should of kept on overlapping through the wing in the last 20 minutes as he was doing a lot throughout the match. it was risky but he was making dangerous runs, crosses and relieving a bit of pressure off Suso.

Again, unfortunate defeat, but the will and determination shown by the players throughout the match, doesn't make it all that bitter either. After all it was Napoli and we gave them a very hard time.

Agree with you, this game will be interesting to watch  Napoli and Fiorentina are known as a team that has the ability to score goals
So I think over 2.5 goals is worth it for this match although Napoli is favorites but Fiorentina will not let them win easily

This is the problem with Napoli. They haven't made the most of their chances; they should be up at least 3-0 by now. And then they make silly mistakes to concede simple goals. They should be comfortably winning matches they're dominating.
And Milan, well done. A 2-2 draw would be an excellent result for them. They're still a goal down though, so it will be tough.

The napoli won against Fiorentina tricky, and is already in the semifinals where he will meet Juventus or AC Milan who play tomorrow. Juventus is favored but has already lost two times this year against Ac Milan!
The 2 other quarter-finals are Inter vs Lazio and Roma vs Cesena surprise.
Interesting Roma vs Inter in the semifinals or  derby Roma vs Lazio.

obviously not an easy to defeat of Real Madrid as the defending champion, but still possible. I am also a fan of Madrid, but sincerely hope there is a big surprise in February later, and surprise it from Napoli that get rid of Madrid.

Once again our slow start cost us the game. i thought bonaventura was outstanding tonight. perhaps he should have started off in the mids instead of LW. i thought Sosa had a solid game spraying the ball around but the midfield trio of him, pasalic and kucka lacked defensively which is why Napoli always looked dangerous on the counter. Difference between Napoli and us wasnt the style of play or determination rather they have couple of better quality players than us and absorbed the pressured better. i dont see much difference going forward as we have showed we've bridged the gap. we just need to sign few quality players in summer to allows us to compete with juve, roma and napoli. I think we are still in the race for top 3.

Juventus really strong team this season, maybe they will get back two prestigious titles in the land of Italy.

didn't watch the game because of cold, but did we play good? i mean good is, did we lost respectfully or shamefully? i didn't have that much expectation in this game since napoli is clearly better than milan at the moment, but it's still sad to watch the boys lost the game.

Undeserving loss, it's always the same if you don't take advantage of your chances. It's pretty much an unwritten rule.

The team was exhausted after the 2nd half blitzkrieg and Napolis changes with double marking on Bona + a more defensive minded Diawara in place of Jorginho which made it so much harder.

I am proud of this team though. Champions League has always been an elusive dream from the beginning of the season but what is clear and more important is that this team finally has character and a good foundation.
