After the 2-2 draw vs Torino, Napoli practically gave the title to Juve. Pepe Reina's mistake was so amateurish that I'm surprised that AC Milan is interested in the spaniard GK. Great team, good manager, great players, but small team mentality, you can't just lose against Fiorentina and draw vs Torino right after winning against Juven in their stadium...where's the spirit, Napoli?
Congrats to Juventus for becoming (not oficially, but almost) the 17/18 Serie A champions.

Another week and the same story Juve gets closer and is almost the champions, Napoli repeating their same old mistakes, it's sad they should have done better. Juventus after being a goal down nicely came back to secure a win and become unofficial title champions. Napoli have no one but themselves to blame for their mess.

I like what Sarri tries to do, but Napoli lost the title themselves. Right now it's would be ridiculous to complain about referees' decisions. They eliminated from CL, then from the National Cup in January, then from the Europa League in the round of 32 and even in such consequences they didn't manage to grab the Scudetto. Juve's performance on the home game vs them was awful, but the distance shows the gap between Bianconeri and others in Italy is still significant.

I think is time for Sarri to leave the team (maybe next year). It's always the same story with Napoli: fight for the scudetto until December and then let Juventus take the title, in the Champions League people expect to see Napoli reaching crucial stages because of how good they play but they always end up KO'd. If Napoli wants to get rid of the underdog tag then something's gotta change, or else they're gonna end up with another Wenger. It must be frustrating for the fans to always end up in 2nd place knowing that the team has much more potential :/

But if he was sacked there is a lot of teams could be looking for his services in Italy like Milan or in England like Arsenal or Chelsea. As for the match will be held between Inter and Lazio in the last round of the league, will be crazy in terms of enthusiasm, and crazy in terms of importance.Future stars a project future, and important financial decisions. will be resolved 90 minutes. Whoever climbs to the championsleague ticket will smile and whoever fails, will certainly suffer from financial and administrative pressures.

They should rather give him funds to compete very effectively in Italy and in Europe as well. He should get better players and I believe it would be pivotal if they want to win the Scudetto next season.

@joebrook, @tomahawk9, I agree with you. He definitely needs better players or at least a longer bench to successfully implement everything he wants. De Laurentiis is an experienced manager and I believe he understands it, but I've heard he loves to use quite specific methods of holding people in his team, so I suppose not everything depends on Sarri's intentions)
As to me, I would like to see him in a rich big club like PSG or MU. I've read rumors about Chelsea, but I don't think Abramovich can provide him enough resources to fulfill his ideas

Gone are the days when Abramovich was eager to bankroll the purchase of the players that his managers wanted but now he is all about the club financing the purchase of players by their own means rather than him doing it.

You talk about funds to get better players but Napoli isn't exactly a club with a lot of resources (money). I think their revenue is lower than West Ham and Southampton from the EPL (teams that don't even play in the Champions League), meaning that Napoli doesn't have the budget of the big clubs in Italy (Juventus, Milan, Inter, Roma) so they can't just go and buy several top players to build a competitive squad. @joebrook, @tomahawk9, I agree with you. Would Abramovich want another italian manager? hmm, I don't think so.

It seems that Juventus are going to achieve the Italian double this season after they trashed AC Milan today beating them by 4-0 with all the goals coming in the 2nd Half. I thought AC Milan had a chance since they were able to hold them for the first half of the game but i was indeed severely mistaken.

Juventus again broke his new record by winning the Coppa Italia 4 years in a row. In Italy, Juventus can not be matched by other teams, and maybe they will marry this trophy with the Serie A trophy in a few weeks.

Next week the Scudetto will be sealed, it will not only be the anticipation of Juventus' seventh triumph in Rome. but of the fact that Allegri may declare his fate in the event of a coronation immediately. Arsenal have contacted him and they see in him the man they need for stage after Wenger. He is doing great at Juventus but the media attention and coverage at EPL could lure him out. In my opinion Arsenal have better chance with him then Luis Enrique as the Spanish manager demanded a lot of ressources from gunners adminastration that they propably wouldn't give. But if it's up to me i rather see him stay in Juve and try one more time to win them the UCL.

Well at least Napoli made the competition very entertaining for us this season and i can bet most people were genuinely happy when Napoli were able to beat Juventus and put the competition going once again, But in the end, they fell on their own sword.

it seems that no one will be able to ignore juventus in the local competition (serie-a, coppa nazionale) for at least another 3 years. napoli and inter that could interfere at the beginning of the season, in fact they plummeted and lost compete with le zebre.

Serie A Italian league lately is a bit boring because its champion is always easy to to guess even new in half the season can be predicted, in the juventus italian league is very superior and has been the last few years has always been a champion and like not having an equal opponent whereas many big and good teams there but always juventus who became no one.

Benevento lost points last week and performed very poorly. Genoa defeated Fiorentina in their own home. Benevento's league drop was definite. Genoa's goal is not up. It will be a comfortable game for both teams. I think that the goals of 2,5 goals will be over

there is no player lost this season that lost more than Donaroma because in the summer, he lost a number of his fans after the renewal of the contract, and then lost confidence in him as a key part of the future because of his agent, and then repeated the mistakes made his season the worst for him and some of whom describeb him as the successor Buffon backed out from their words and the main reason behind all these disasters is Raiola, his agent. If he had some experience, Donaroma would have sacked his agent from the beginning of last year. He is an excellent goalkeeper and he needs to feel stable in Milan or elsewhere and that Raiola is not good in doing.

Genoa narrowly won the first game between the two sides with a lone goal from the spot kick in the dying minutes of the game. And with just a single win their last five games, I don’t expect a lot from Benevento but maybe a draw will suffice this game.

It's almost the end of the season for Europe, and I've basically given up on the underdog winning Serie A, but let's make room for one night of betting on this evening's games to back an improbably late rise for Napoli.
My risky bet is a simple parlay backing a home Roma win against Juventus @2.46 and a Napoli away win against Sampdoria @1.6 for a total @3.86
It'll still only bring the gap to 3 points with only 1 game to go, but it would set the stage for an exciting finish to the season!
Long live the underdog!

Roma have been a surprise to a lot of people this season and I do believe that they are able to pull a surprise and beat Juventus who haven’t been their best in their last few games where they mostly win in the dying minutes of their games.
